Damned whippersnappers, needing shorter and shorter deadlines to keep themselves in line!

To answer a question that was sent regarding the time frame for UPicks, moderators will have 72 hours after their game has filled for a design and review phase.

The Blitz Queue is now open for moderators to sign up. To sign up, read the instructions in the queue thread and send your information via PM to me.

Always On Mafia would be
perfect
for the Blitz Queue. Hint, hint, nudge, wink.

Any of the ones here (Mr. Flay collaborated and reviewed each of these with me)

Can I run these games here?

Yes. To summarize the rules regarding open setups and reviews, anything that is allowed in the Open Game Queue (not necessarily limited to setups in rotation) will also be allowed in the Blitz Game Queue, since it's assumed that those setups have already been vetted.

I won't begrudge anyone who wants to use the Blitz Queue for replacements, since we might as well test either method out.

I'd be happy to informally help with keeping track, and I imagine other mods would help as well.

We discussed having two games in sign-ups at a time before the trial started, but there weren't enough moderators queued to justify it. If there ever is a longer queue, I'll have two games take sign-ups at a time. Right now, though, it seems like player sign-ups are likely to outpace moderator sign-ups; from what I can tell, only one game has really held up the queue. Most everyone queued now is going to be able to run their game before December 15.

I inned only once because I'd like to see everyone who wants to mod a blitz game during the trial have the opportunity.

There's no risk of the queue running empty anytime soon, but it could always use more moderators. If you'd like to run a game but want others to go first, you can let me know to move you to the back of the queue.

Due to negligence on my part, this became a nasty surprise for a few people who signed up to run a Normal game in the Blitz Queue. For that, I sincerely apologize. From this point forward, Blitz Normals are required to be reviewed for Normalcy by the Normal Review Group. Alternatively, if you wish to bypass this process, running your game as a theme game is recommended.

Post-game surveys were finally sent out! Sorry to everyone who received duplicate messages. If you want to opt-out, shoot me a PM and you'll be subscribed to Cat Facts instead, but you won't receive survey requests anymore.

Moderators can request aggregated scores for their games at any time, and a report will be sent about a week after the survey PM was sent (or when everyone has opened their PM). If you don't want your game surveyed, PM me as soon as possible.

Thanks!

The survey has been updated, so anyone who still has the old link can fill out the survey for those games that have already completed. Invitations will go out fairly soon, and I apologize in advance for the flood of PMs.

If you did not participate in a Blitz game but would like to offer your thoughts on the trial, please fill out this short survey: https://mafiascum.typeform.com/to/hu2iLC

If you have already completed a post-game survey, this contains the same questions as the final section of that survey.

To game moderators who requested summary reports, I apologize for not having sent those out. Unfortunately, access has been unpredictable for me, and I haven't been able to analyze anything. They
will
be sent, though!

It is in limbo. There was discussion about it that was interrupted by list moderator turnover. It is not being ignored specifically; I am just not sure how much I can say given that I am speaking out of turn.

This is not an official statement, either.

It's not feasible to calculate this figure site-wide, since not all queues maintain an archive of games.
