. Bodyguards can only protect against a direct shot by the mafia. They cannot prevent someone dying through any other means than a direct shot by the mafia.

This means that if Alice protects Bob, and Bob protects Carol, and the mafia shoot Carol, Bob will die. It doesn't matter that Alice was protecting Bob because the mafia didn't shoot Bob, they shot Carol.

If Alice and Bob both protect Carol, it will be chosen randomly whether Alice or Bob will die.

The mafia can self target if they want to.

Post restrictions are voted for separately and take 3 votes.
