So I finished a Neutral playthrough andI killed Flowey at the end. Mettaton ruled the underworld.
I've gotten inconsistent information about this, butit sounds like you can still get a pacifist ending without resetting on a subsequent playthrough. Sound reasonable.-

Restart vs reset vs reinstall needs clarification.-

I didn't realize you could spare Toriel on my first playthrough (not a spoiler as the marketing emphasizes that everyone can be spared), so I tried for a long time and then killed her, and I was so sad afterwards. I was also super sad when I got the call from Papyrus after killing Undyne; it was amusing that he calls you with the same call while she's chasing you to kill you if she's alive. ^^-

The endings aren't the only things that change. Even if you don't go for a different ending, the game will pick up on little small things.-

I didn't do genocide, but it's because my completionist tendencies are balanced against my desire to avoid permanently tainting my profile.
I have considered reinstalling to remove the minor tainting I inadvertently did on my first playthrough.-

Doesn't it also play while you're walking forward near the end and getting some backstory?-

I never liked Earthbound really. I tried to like it several times. And I liked just about every other 16-bit RPG.-

But the third time suddenly the hit boxes were suspiciously lenient, and the attacks seemed to do much less damage. Blah, don't hold my hand, unless I ask you to! The victory felt really undeserved. I have spoiled myself enough to know that the genocide route boss fights are brutal, but to be honest I still expected a bit more from the ending of the neutral route.
I assumed that the scripted element here was part of the narrative. DETERMINATION.-

That is one angle, but the other is that you get more resilient each time you personally reload (per what Claus is saying).-

My point was that Claus's irritation at the last boss getting easier with your failures can be assuaged by an appreciation of how it's relevant to the narrative.
Flowey doing the opposite when you eventually triumph isn't related to Claus's complaint (but Flowey doing it is certainly extra sublime in the context of the player already picking up on the effect of save/reload).-

I've tried to play Seasons like twice and lost interest. Ages I did like a lot, but my ROM save file got corrupted and I never finished it.-

They're all pretty playable. I played through every game in the franchise in about 2012 because my boyfriend at the time had everything on GameCube in some format or other.
The NES games have fewer narrative components and may appeal to you less. Everything else is still playable. Twilight Princess feels like you're riding an amusement park ride, but it always felt that way.-

No, but you are among the wrong ones.
It's a conservative retread of Ocarina after backlash from Wind Waker.-

I would like to have a version of my current avatar where my guy in Paris or the beach or whatever is replaced by Papyrus doing his battle pose.-

Alphys I thought was cute and I liked her.
Hotland is a little overlong on replays, though, which makes me downrate Alphys and Metaton.-

Would you recommend PoE to someone who liked BG/BG2/Planescape (not crazy about IWD) but would like some modernization?-

this made me wanna listen to the soundtrack again.
i never actually did a genocide game because i found killing everything in the first area too tedious. I walked all the way from one side to the other and didn't encounter anything.
