my thoughts as I read through the thread:

On reading the setup, I would say obviously the mafia will pick roleblocker and doc. No way they choose cop.

Mert seems pro town, calling for a claim that early seems bold for scum. Oh wait he died so this is right. Patricks vote on him for it being too early seems a bit like an obvious town post ie slightly scummy.

xyzzy play seems poor so far (at post 77 here)

I can see why ssf got lynched I think (thinking of post 90 here)

oh and post 95.

Jdodge vote on ssf seems legit, shanba's I don't like. From the wording.

Don't like patricks post 100. avoiding the ssf wagon, wishy washy wording there.

Rishi's post 103 is a townie type post.

Don't like schismatized post 110 with vote for mert.

dylan is lurking?

not liking mneme's vote on ssf, from the wording. i.e. jdodge is very eager in his pursuit of ssf, but scum who know ssf is townie get a little antsy about lynching someone on page 6.

dylan is scummy, asking if it's ok to switch to ssf. schismatized points this out, townie points for schismatized.

Whoops, looks like my predecessor hammered without a claim. This is something I've been guilty of too as townie though not usually in a mini. Patrick is making too big a deal about it.

I picked you over Rishi because your attack on me is also fairly scummy in form -- coming into the game and following while not really giving anything resembling reasoning, whereas Rishi mostly just hasn't been here. Over Patrick because you're more scummy than he is (duh).

Now you are saying that you are convinced she's scum. I don't see anything that could cause that change, it seems you are lying. And are you seriously convinced that Rishi is scum and

I see you've recanted you claim of the top three. I really doubt that a "second analysis" revealed different priorities, I think patrick called you out on bullshit and you backtracked. You also accused of scummy behavior re:dylan when it's exactly what you said you were going to do when more players got here.

No, I'm not. I said "I'm pretty convinced she's scum". That's as much saying "I'm convinced she's scum" as saying "I'm almost sure you're a townie" is saying "I'm sure you're a townie."

The difference is negligible.

I never claimed there was a distinct ranking. I picked three people out of my analysis that looked fairly scummy (one I'd misread my own comments on, but never mind that). Later, I reevaluated my ranking based on TM and Rishi's later posts -- but in fact, thinking someone is more scummy than someone else (as Rishi's lurking was more scummy than Thin Man's stridency/lurking) isn't always enough to change your vote. Just changing your vote whenever you change priorities, even slightly is known as "vote hopping".

Are you serious? Thinking someone is scummier than someone else is a damn good reason to shift your vote to them. You appear worried about being seen as scummy for vote hopping, that's funny because being worried unnecessarily is also a scumtell.

Before I did some, you know, analysis? Yes, I did, or at least I wanted to see his response before committing. But no, on analysis of the game, I don't think he's in my top 3 -- his contributions have been horrid, but not out of his norm; no town tells, no scum tells, not much play, for that matter. I'd like to see a replacement before making judgment there.

This is a possible explanation, but it doesn't look that likely from your post. The statement about dylan was in the same post as your "analysis", you could have changed it.

That's the second time you've misparaphrased me. Please stop doing so. I said I wanted to see what -dylan- (or his replacement) said, nothing to do with more players.

Ah, I see, you're looking later, where I said I wanted a full game, and thought "full game" meant "more players". Oddly enough, it actually meant "all the players" (including dylan).

You misunderstand. You accused patrick of scummy behavior regarding dylan (saying he acts same as scum and town and still voting him), yet you yourself said the same thing about dylan and expressed intention to vote him. There's no real difference between the two.
