If we mislynch we're stuck at 3 scum and 5 town after tonight assuming vig doesn't kill, essentially putting us at LYLO. That sucks.

"I found our first Capulet!" proclaims Brutal Assassin. "You can tell, 'cause he said good luck. We Montagues never utter such a phrase."

"Really?" inquires Kinetic. "I mean, we Montagues are nice and kind, not the sort to engage in nocturnal murder. Why wouldn't we say 'good luck'?"

"Yeah, pretty sure it's Kinetic," says Dragon Phoenix. "He called me a "dick", and we all know Montagues would use something much more clever."

"Has this been scientificly tested, proven, peer reviewed, and indepentently confirmed?" inquires Logicus logicly.

"Umm," says Brutal Assassin, "...yeah?"

"Hmm." Somestrangeflea scratches at his scalp (why

it itch so?). "I can sort of see what you mean...you say "good luck" to the other team...and...uh..only Capulets are playing against another team."

"Exactly," nods Logicus.

"Oh, I dunno..." says xyz. "I mean, JimmyR thinks Poppin is a guy, that's pretty bad too."

"But see, there's already a

wagon

on Kinetic," reasons Mert, while biting his thumb at his avatar.

"I'm not a Capulet!" cries Kinetic.

"And I'm not a boy!" says Poppin, equally revolted.

The conversation is entirely too much for Schismatized and Krahven, so they promptly commit suicide. (What a selfish act.)

"Oh!" says Stewie, waking up with a start. "I didn't realize things had begun."

Then he blinks.

"Oh!" says Stewie again. "I didn't realize things had begun."

He shakes his head, uncertain of what just happened there. "Umm, anyway, Logicus. Evil. More wine, please?"

Poppin takes a deep breath. "Friends, Veronans, countrymen, lend me your ears. I come to write a big long post that no one'll read. But I'm up for lynching Kinetic, is the short of it."

"I'm really really a Montague!" repeats Kinetic, over and over. But no one seems to listen.

"Eh, I guess saying good luck is worse than thinking someone's a guy," says xyz. "Plus, you keep trying to tell me the wine's in front of me, when it could easily be in front of you. I mean...well, you know what I mean."

"Yeah," says somestrangeflea.

And with that, the party guests (and crashers), drag Kinetic to the gallows.

"I'm really, really..." he tries to say, but his neck has already been snapped.

This is an open game. There is a traitor, and there is no doc. We just have a cop and a 2-shot vigi. Also, we have partial reveals, so it's possible that one of the dead people is the cop or the vigi (or, if we have really bad luck, both).

Also, since you are actually a Montague, despite your allegiances, you will appear as such if investigated or in the unfortunate event of your demise.

Correct me if I'm wrong, this is my first game with a Traitor in it, but none of the role PMs on Page 1 mention anything about Traitor recruitment.

The traitor cannot be "recruited" in this game - he is, to all intents and purposes, a townie. The only difference is that his win condition states that he wins with the scum rather than the town. In all other ways, he is exactly the same as a vanilla townie.

I read it, I was just tired and lazy and not paying attention while I typed.

If I wasn't familiar with the setup at all, I would've suggested the cop claim.

But, yeah, I was hastily explaining my logic in response to another person's post. All this proves is that I'm not one of the people who should be afraid of what the town might be able to accomplish.

The masqueraders, one by one, begin to wake up after a somewhat restful night of sleep. Everyone’s mask magically stayed on throughout the night… except for Brutal Assassin, who was brutally assassinated, and somestrangeflea, who was somehow strangely fleaed to death.

Everyone crowds around the mangled body of Brutal Assassin. The house crest of the Montague family which was sealed behind his mask was torn to shreds.
“What do we do now?” a voice screams out. “We lost another one of our brethren?”
“There’s something rotten in the state of Denmark!”
“Virtue is bold, and goodness never fearful.”
“How could you say that at a time like this?”
“For there was never yet philosopher that could endure the tooth-ache patiently.”

Brutal Assassin, a Montague, has been killed during the night.

But all is not lost, for in examining the body of somestrangeflea, you notice that the inside of his gloves are marked with the Capulet seal.
