Because it's not a lead. It's a waste of time. I'm not sticking up for him, I'm telling people to leave it alone and focus on something else because it's dumb.schismatized wrote:
Not liking this very much. Why stick up for him so much eh?Jimmy R wrote:It was a throwaway vote guys, relax and leave it be. No one is going to play the Jester gambit on page 2 so lets get over it and move on.
I realise not much has happened and it's something to latch onto, but still...
vote jimmy
You dont know that someone is not going to gambit jester early on and you sure dont know who he is (unless your scum) or what his intentions are. So why not follow all leads?-

I'm not a big fan of the whole secret 'I'm not telling you' playstyle either. The only problem in this game is figuring out whether its a scum move or a jester move.
I'm personally holding to the fact that it's still to early for anyone to be playing the Jester. They'd surely want to fly under the radar as long as possible.-

Unvote, Vote Benhalkum
I think we're really going to struggle to lynch scum in this game. Every day it's going to be a worry whether or not we're going after the Jester.
I don't think Benhalkum is the Jester and his post above is probably the most anti-town I've seen this game. A good townie doesn't say things like that, so fine, lets test it.-

Nothing new to say. My vote was on him because he was acting scummy and I didn't feel he was the Jester. However, I'm willing to see what his replacement has to say as it could have just been poor play by Ben.
I'd be very surprised if any of the people who have replaced in are Jester as it's a pretty rare oppurtunity to play that role in a game like this and I wouldn't expect anyone having that to drop out without a very good reason.-

Because on page 2, in the random voting stage, I would definitely say that TCS is the cop based on the fact that he posted a screenshot of his desktop....?
There's no point having any kind of dialogue with you if you truly can't see that as a joke. If you want to believe that I think TCS is the cop, go ahead and do that but you're barking up the wrong tree...In fact, it's not even a tree you're that wrong.-

Definitely leaning towards a D3sisted vote at the moment. It could be Jester play, but at some point we're going to have to go out on a limb a little bit and take the risk to lynch someone, otherwise we'll never win this game.
At the moment the most sus person has to be D3sisted. It's partly because he's replaced in and been very active, so he's in the spotlight.-

Unvote, Vote D3sisted
Wasn't confident enough to vote yesterday but after sifting through again, it's definitely the best case we've got. I don't feel the need to go through it all again here as I'd mostly just be repeating what has been said by others.
And for the last time, I wasn't rolefishing. I really can't believe anyone could take that joke as a rolefish, I mean seriously, we weren't even talking about the game at the time.
Like we've said, it's always gonna be a risk to lynch, however, D3 is taking a lot of time and effort to mount a defence, which doesn't seem like a Jester play to me. It's a little WIFOM but the Jester would probably let things ride and barely defend himself, so I think we're safe on that count.-

Yeah that's definitely possible, which is why I mentioned it was pretty WIFOM. But I'm also just not getting the Jester vibe from D3.ryan wrote:Jimmy R: I'm interested in your idea that a Jester would not defend himself (or herself) isn't it also possible that a Jester would respond with terrible comebacks as to implicate himself even more to get lynched?-
