They are a basic cheap option for moving items. So I think they go really well alongside Progressive Automation if ETL is looking at that.

They aren't as functional as the other pipes and certainly not as great as using EIO conduits and such. But it's an early game option. Just figured I'd point it out because it looked good for a solid little mod that potentially has a niche to fill.

Played around with Progressive Automation some. Seems pretty solid mod. Definately not early game breaking. It seems they can only mine what the individual tools inside it can mine. So upgrading them is needed to be able to use higher level tools. The higher levels require upgraded .... upgrades. So within a few hours I got eight upgrades into a iron miner, which allows me to mine a 3x3 square down 65 blocks. So it's not game breaking and I got lucky on hitting a lot of iron and redstone to be able to do it.

Considering I think branch mining or cave mining might be faster to get ores, I'd say the PA is pretty solid mod for folks that want to do simple automation like mining. Haven't looked at the grower or chopper but I'd imagine the are very similar.

I have been enjoying some parts of smart move I think it is. The ability to climb some stuff and such is very nice when trying to scout areas and such, but I don't know if there was any discussion on that.

I don't know about all the computer mods. But I know that the computer mod we had can control reactors wonderfully and way more efficiently then trying to manually control them. SO I think they are good that way to manage resources.

Also, let me know when I next post in IRC where the gold is at. Either I'm looking in WAY the wrong spot ... or gold generation is just horrible. I've found more diamond then gold at this point.

Did may a claycenia or whatever. Great to make clay from sand! I might actually make things I want to make. Got some RF production going with a pulverizer right now. Pretty excited about that as well.

I cleared out two of the small huts. I can definately rebuild them if someone is upset about it I needed wood and didn't like their locations at all. So my apologizes if I need to fix it that's not an issue. Although one of them was partially creeper exploded too

I've started dropping torches to try and get monster spawn out of spawn. It's hideous and ugly but I don't like tons of witches and creepers running around. And I figure we can work on something prettier. But I just now started and I'm not very good at sticking to one thing.

Every where I end up someone has already been here. Go digging far away from spawn ... Start a stair, claus' place. Dig further and further away. Came up so nothing around. Started terraforming. Find out someones little triangle house is up on the hill above.

Just a note to whoever powered the rail below my house, it's unpowered as thats a point I want to stop at.

Also, I can't get my mob spawner to work. It just seems like it's made more mobs spawn around it. I've lit up every area I see mobs spawning in in my chasm but maybe there is some nearby caves causing issues.

Yeah. Not upsetting by any means. Just means taking out a redstone torch. But I was VERY supristed when I went to go to the bottom of Chicken Hill and instead continued going all the way to spawn.

Well when I used it I had to get like .... 40-50+ sippy flowers in order to have a somewhat functioning furnace .... This was a while ago so maybe something changed but a single big of coal on one of those flowers that burned stuff just about replaced my whole sippy tower ....

I think it seems like a weak way to balance it, but I don't know. I haven't played modded in what a year?

I had issues with a full inventory a few times before I figured it out. It's a good feature so I don't throw a reward into lava or something but it should tell you why it's not working.

I've had a VERY lonely time on minecraft today. No one has been on or around at all.

heads up for everyone if you aren't playing regrowth and starts. If it asks if you want a skeleton seed as a reward, say yes. Otherwise it because much harder. It's such a stupid quest choice, it should be a bug.

Screwing around in single player same mod pack as sp5 .... Immediately come across a walled village. 41 chunks large. Although one house is in the water and the gates are both in the water ... it's huge and perfect.

Thats just right near spawn. I can't fit all the river on one view but I'll put together one sometime. Yellow is river. It continues off the lower right corner heading out to the cove by Ms place.

The orange is some that I want to do still I want to just have a huge connection of rivers and lakes. It's super fun to boat around in this version.

PEDIT: Lastly, there might or might not be chests along the rivers full of cobble and dirt and what not. It's free game.

Well, I normally see a few mobs spawning around my village. but I also have a lot of tunnels they seem to be spawning in as well.

Only thing with the server that is bothering me is some one is messing with my cows. First there was something weird with the gate, Maybe that was a bug. But I moved them under ground and blocked them in with dirt. All the dirt was dug out. I doubt an enderman spawned down there and took all the dirt pieces blocking my stairs letting my cows free. This is getting ridiculous. This is now the second time I get to try and breed some cows.

In terms of villagers, rhinox I'll hopefully have some villagers. if we can set up my village to the rail system we should be set to move villagers.

It wasn't a creeper. It was a small area that would have caused much more damage. IT was just two dirt blocks places over the stairs. Also the nether cows were probably mine as they were down by my portal.

I had my cows in a pen with a gate for a long time without any issues either. But the gate being opened could have been something wierd. Even though one of those times that gate reversed directions like someone chopped it down and put it on backwards.

Yeah. Well the thing was I came in, found the gate open and cows everywhere. I got a bunch of them back in. Closed it. Went back to mining. Came back to the gate open again. but that time only ETL was on and she says she didn't do it so I assume it was a glitch.

After a long time of not having any issues.

On top of the dirt thing.

I downloaded mod pack. Added the two mods thorugh the link. Replaced my config folder. Everything loads just fine. When I try to log into the server it's been stalled at "Logging in .... "

I for a little bit was having issues with the game freezing and or crashing on connection to the server on my laptop. But I'd get connected. Hear a buzz which I think is caused by a generator but it's super loud(same noise happens on my desktop and I believe when playing sky factory with the mod that has survival generators). I've even seen my base occasionally before the crash. Don't think there were logs it's like it just disconnects me again, but I some how further broke the instance so I can't even recreate it now.

Davro, I owe you a few iron ingots and a couple apples. Also ... One of my precious head hats has been hung up in your spawner. Hope the decoration is okay. Also, I found out water kills blazes. So maybe have a second lever to release water that kills the blazes and pushes the items to a collection point?

I'm not sure whats happening. But buckets in my boiler system are disappearing. The buckets are pulled from the boiler in wooden transport pipes into a liquid transposer that then output them into the boiler. When I watch the system the liquid transposer doesn't output if the boiler is full. And I've not once found a bucket on the ground or anything. Anyone know what could be causing it?

I feel like a god in this new pack. And I haven't even really did anything cool. Just running around with the dark armor from Ender IO. Empower III in everything but IV in boots because they go through lots of power. Jump III and Glide and what not is installed. Working on maxing it for fun. A drill with speed II and a 3x3 and fortune augment digs so fast I'd be scared to do speed III. A 16m rf battery to run everything with! The item repairer is OP. Although it takes a ton of RF to repair things no materials needed(it's slow). Learning how to do redstone again. This time how insulated redstone conduits work. They are amazing.

I think that's it. I've been playing non stop for a few days. So I probably well have a few more days before I quit until next server again.

I wasn't copying the mod and configs into the minecraft folder I was doin it one level up from that. Could be why it wasn't working. Only got 4gb in my desktop right now and it doesn't want to get through initializing everything.

Wow, with an okay graphics card and 6gigs of ram I still can't get better then 1-2frames even after dumping the chunks view distance setting .... Any recommendations for speeding things up like optifine or anything or just dump settings?

Well I messed with some settings and was getting 60fps but with things turned way down, but with those java settings it drops to 30 but I'll play around with everything, sure to figure it out a stable 30 is probably playable for me anyways.

GPU is a Radeon R7 370, not super super old in terms of being worn down or anything. It's not amazing but most games I can play at fairly decent settings.

I can't get modded to connect. Just gets a disconnect, no error on my end. The only thing I see in logs is psosbily complaint about waila and inventory tweaks and such. Downloaded the thing from davsto's post, and set everything up in twitch app just like I did on my laptop thats working. Not sure why it's being cranky.

AMD FX-8300 with R7 370 and 16 gigs of ram. I set it to like 8 gigs of ram for minecraft, I tried added in davros' java settings but that was after the issue happened so it happened with and without them.

Yeah I though all those mods didn't seem to be the issue, but seems weird that it loads fine. Just insta disconnects from the server.

Alright. So it was working. Then crashed. Reloaded issue was there again. Without changing anything .... Now somehow it's only trying to load with 1 gig of ram ... despite the settings all being different. I hate this. I may just copy over stuff from my laptop and see if that works.

Alright. So I don't know whats going on. I get some complaint about Java not being updated ... that it causes crashes with immersive engineering. I tried a modpack off twitch. Ran fine, crashed. Then was also doing 0 FPS. So I don't know if there is something getting messed up or some weird setting that's happening after running it. It's really weird, but I'm done playing with it for tonight I think.

In terms of ore, I know there are at least two coppers, and I always hate having different ores when mining, but I guess there are bags for that maybe?

So update, jar launcher didn't do anything. Don't think optifine well fix it. It's literally something preventing any frames, not a hardware limitation. When it's happening no issues with high cpu or gpu usage not even maxing out the ram it's given.
Between it working after deleting java launch arguments, it then crashed and stopped working. It's also doing it in other twitch packs so I don't know if I need to roll back my java that the newest java doesnt' work or what. I don't know and don't know where to start.

Turns out issue was with MipMaps locking up my computer some how. Don't know the cause but turning them off takes me from zero fps to 100+. Yay.
