Artie mumbles something to himself, then walks over to the nearest person, who, for some strange reason, is sleeping.

Artie! You may want to introduce yourself to your new allies.

Ah yes! Good idea!

Artie seems to be talking to himself, but he looks like he genuinely believes he is talking to his rune sword. Artie nods at his sword. Artie fiddles with the sword, until it changes appearance. The sword, which used to look like a plain rune sword with a few bits and bobs, has now taken on a red color, and looks as if it could spout flames at any moment. He points it to the sky, and small flames actually do pour out of it, before quickly dissipating.
He fiddles with the sword a few more times, with the sword releasing water, sparks, and small rocks, each accompanied by a different look of the sword.

OOC: I think I should probably use underlined for 3rd person stuff. Otherwise it's toonclose to looking like a mod post.

Artie walks over to Daffyd and attempts to start a conversation with him.

"Greetings! My name is Artanis! I serve as the AI for this sword. Pleased to be of service!"

As soon as he hears the word "magician", Artie hones in on the conversation, and goes to talk to Hamset and Kamijo.

"Did someone say MAGICIAN?"

Artie shows off his magical sword, then requests to compare weaponry.

We have no ill intentions. Artie is just trying to understand you.

It's easy to see that Artie is being a Ventriloquist and that Artanis, his sword, doesnt actually talk. What's strange is that Artie doesnt seem to be aware that he is doing so.
Artie proceeds to show Kamijo, Hamset and Rob how his weapon works. He shows them that Artanis uses Kyrum to create different substances. "Artanis" explains that he can create small amounts of fire, water, electricity and stone at will, but also has the ability to weaponise this. He shows an obvious interest in technology and weaponry, and looks as if he really wants to see what weapons his new allies have.

Rob shows interest in Artie's sword. He takes out a cigarette, and talks to Artie.

"...mind if I borrow a light?"

Artanis starts glowing red. Artie taps the tip of it to Rob's Cigarette, and lights it.

If we're going to be cooperating, we should probably introduce ourselves, and our training. Danger could arise at any moment, and we need to be unified into a cohesive unit if we are to have any chance. Before this happens, it may be a good idea to know peoples talents. Artie here has spent years researching both the wonders of Kyrum, and the Art of War.

Artie seems interested in this strange man, and warily goes to meet him. He instructs his new "friends" to come with him.

Artie is visibly fascinated by Moon, but is quite nervous. He takes Moons hand and awkwardly shakes it.

Artie found me 12 years ago, when he was 15. He had been on the run for the 3 years after the Great War, when he stumbled upon me in the ruins of an old temple. The things he had gone through in those three years.....he hasn't even told me after all these years, but it still haunts him. Ever since, weve kept eachother sane. In the last 12 years, we've been many places, and have experienced many things.

Artie spends a few moments looking at Moon.

"What of you, Moon? You understand that Artanis is more than a sword, so I'm guessing you're well educated.
Slight disinterest in what Walt is saying, so Combat likely isn't your thing. But then why are you here? Oh.

i don't have the visual clues or dialect clues Artie has, so ****** is a placeholder for whatever profession Moon is, unless it would be inconceivable for someone to be able to deduct who you are from what you've shown. The deduction thing is kinda like what Sherlock does.

Tanuel was now fiddling with a small sphere in his hand. He kept glancing over at Soldier Ventor who kept trying to look at his face when he thought Tanuel wouldn't notice. Finally Tanuel stopped fiddling with the sphere and let it fly onto his shoulder and turned to Soldier Ventor.

"Yes, my eye is not real...no you've never seen anything like it before...yes it is powered by kyrum. Did I get through all your questions Soldier?" Interupting the conversation. Tanuel indicated to his left eye which briefly flashed a tiny amount of kyrum energy.

"Thought so. I've spent a long time around Kyrum-operated technology. "

This "Backup Melee" was for chokepoint plan but as I wrote it down I was like "wait why not just turtle the hell out instead" so here it is.

I'm not sure. I just got it as a skill by rolling great on a water bomb. it says it'll affect enemy's accuracy and movement, so it should affect yours. However, dont end your move on it.

Oh, yeah. Armored truck, flipping over much more than would be expected. When I was entering the truck, noticed that floor of truck was much higher than bottom of truck.
Indicates something inside that helped.

I'll be posting my version of this when I get home, but may I suggest that we make an OOC post detailing our characters stats, attributes, perks, and actions?
It'll mean we will know when someone is close to death, and who to ask for help from in a given situation.
