Yes, I know about my bank. (Although I keep forgetting I can access it from a crafting table and running all the way to wherever the bank is, only to remember that running was completely unnecessary when I get there... -_-)
I'd greatly appreciate bags as long as it's not gonna cost you too much. I've accumulated about 5 and a half gold already just from selling crafting things despite my low level (apparently copper jewelcrafting items sell for a lot for some reason...?) so I don't think I'm in too bad of a position other than lack of bag space.-

I got a Lv80 Exotic from some chests from killing a World Boss. :O
I mean I'm only Lv25 (Sylvari Guardian) to Lv32 (Norn Engi) and I don't have anyone that can use a longbow (Ranger and Warrior? unless Guardian/Ele/Thief get access in HoT) but still!
Also I bought the Watchwork Mining Pick and an extra bank tab. I've made anywhere from 1-3 gold each day from selling the random sprockets and the extra bank tab helps so much. I do need at least one or two 18-20 slot bags on at least one of my characters though. Or I could park all my Cooking stuff on an alt but that's lots of effort to move over.If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?

low-mid range crafting materials sell for a good amount because Ascended crafting requires them, but they're impossible to find in level 80 zones where people who are crafting Ascended items tend to hang out.
Don't worry about the cost. How many bag slots do you have?KappaJust MonikaAge is a very high price to pay for maturity.-

Yeah, I'm feeling the itch to get back into this after the year or so I've been away because I have always loved the world and lore of Guild Wars. Hopefully the Living Story season 2 stuff is better than the season 1 stuff, which was just a lot of collecting and very few actual quests?jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont

Assuming the starter backpack (20 slots) is the max size anyway so I shouldn't count it as a slot, 3 characters + 4 bag slots each = 12 bag slots total. But that's a lot. Even just one big bag would be amazingly helpful, or a few medium ones. I'm not gonna be picky or greedy about free stuff.-

I am a good Thief

I haven't actually touched my Thief in a while - currently have a Lv32 Guardian, 40 Engi, and 16ish Warrior. Warrior's fun, but it feels... squishier than it should be.
Eventually I'll try a light armor class - Necro was my GW1 favorite, but Mesmer seems fun. Not a fan of true mage types, so probably not touching Ele for a while. I should probably not have too many alts though. >_>If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?

So I hit 80 on my Sylvari Guardian. Woo-hoo!
I bought some stuff for getting my armorsmithing from 225 to 400 since I had ~28g and wasn't using any of it, then realized in my tired delirium that I had been looking up things for Weaponsmithing. So I bought 175 -> 225 materials for Weaponsmithing, maxed that, then maxed Armorsmithing for good measure. Well, max is 500, but 400's good enough for me for now. I was a little over 70 when I started and hit 80 after all that.
I also fought Tequatl for the first time today. When I realized, after getting to the area and seeing that mountain in the distance, that Tequatl was the dragon they showed in one of the FIRST trailers three years ago, I had a huge HOLY SHIT moment. I was hyped for this game for the months leading up to release, and finally getting to actually experience the gameplay that got me interested in the game way back when after waiting so long to play it at all was amazing.
Anyway, once I map-complete Sparkfly Fen, I guess I'll just keep moving on to the later zones. I've put off personal story for a bit, and I still haven't completed any of the 15-25ish level zones, but I want to unlock more 70-80ish areas first. Guess map completion is the first big thing I'm going for. I have so much stuff I want to do that I'm not even close to trying PvP/dungeons (played AC, that's it)/WvWvW/etc... And I definitely have my eye on crafting Sunrise eventually. If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?

yeah, tequatl was super cool and I love that there's ten million achievements for doing different things during the fight. Definitely going to have to replay that one a few times. Also bouncing around on the asura ... bouncy things ... was awesome.
For the record, I'm also 80 now (technically I hit it first because I didn't have as much alt ADD) and also probably going for world completion first, although I'm sure lots of other things will get accidentally/incidentally completed along the way. I actually love exploring a lot but not so much the fighting random mobs and especially not getting slowed, crippled, or immobilized by them when I'm trying to run past them to something I actually care about. Don't really care for the renown hearts either.
Just happening to stumble upon a bigger mob is great, though. I guess my main issue is that fighting random trash mobs doesn't usually require any strategy so I don't get anything from it from a combat standpoint.-

This game is 10 bucks rn for regular or 15 for deluxe
is it worth the 10, let alone the 15
It's 100% worth 10, I'd say it's also easily worth 15 for the deluxe, although the extras don't do a lot.jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont

Extras:
- PvP Rank Bonus (not too important)
- Influence Bonus (you already get a 4k boost iirc, this adds another 1k)
- 14 day Golem Banker (on each new character you create, kinda convenient I guess but traveling to places with banks/crafting areas isn't too difficult)
- Elite Skill (can't use it til Lv31, and it's not an amazing elite from the looks of it)
- Mini Rytlock Brimstone (meh)
110% worth $10 (I've spent more than the retail $40 on the game including when I got it for $10). I'd rather throw $5 towards a gem purchase, but I wouldn't fault anyone if they wanted to spend an extra $5.
(Friendly reminder we're on Gate of Madness.)If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?
