Eh, I can't say much. I get bored with Modded pretty easily without some sort of guide. That's why I played AgSkies like, 5 times. :P

Crash landing is fun. You should check out Blood and Bones too. It's a depressing, but fun, modpack.

Yep. HQM is in Blood and Bones as well. It's a really, really well designed modpack. A lot of thought went in to it.

also, any aspect, save for primals, can be found by combining it's component aspects in a research table. I don't think there's any aspect in the game that can't be found through scanning, but I could be wrong about that. It's best to just scan everything you come in contact with, though.

But I'm getting better in the pack. From zero to stone wall, powered water and candleberries in just over 3 hours.

Maybe I should grind my way to a PCB so I can at least have sync before trying the city again...


My rule was to not go to the city until I had a power source that could recharge my Sync Shells. :P

How? The gravel+clay recipe is disabled in crash landing. I know I can melt pebbles down to seared stone in a crucible, but then I need a casting table to transform the seared stone into a seared brick. Are there other ways?

Yeah, the city is the way to get the Smeltery. You know which building it spawns in right? It has a smoke-stack kind of structure on top of it.

Modded Server Announcement!

After a very unsuspected crash this evening (around 7PM EST), the world has been backed up to this morning (around 7AM EST). We understand that a lot of progress may have been lost in this backup and we apologize sincerely. I'll happily replace any major item someone has lost because of this. Due to crash, I'm asking that everyone
please
remove any and all chunkloaders from any dimension. We do not know how this happened, where it happened, or if it will happen again, and this is the only way to prevent it. I have a solution to fix this, but I will have to talk to ETL before I do it. Thank you all for sticking with us through this.

For 1.7.10 SP, I recommend this mod. Incredibly fun, lots of stuff, useful and nostalgic!

I, personally, don't mind a "broken" mod, simply because, well, in my opinion, that's what modded minecraft is, but that's just me. Discussion of mods is good and encouraged. I'd rather people express opinions about suggestions as opposed to sitting back and silently hating everything.
I suggested Project E because I know some people liked the old EE2 and it'd be really nice to go back and relive some of it, for me at least.

I have each of the Infused Ore blocks in relatively large quantities. If you don't already know where my place in Aroma is just fly around a bit near the others' portals and you'll see it. My ME system is open to all.

But what I'm saying is, say we put in an item like a fluiduct, which is item ID (xxxx). In the new TE, it's known as Entity:Fluiduct. Would it be able to distinguish between the old and the new? I was under the impression they completely redid the system, erasing Item ID's completely. Not just hiding them behind an alias.

Intra-linking wasn't available through the Ink-mixer and was creative only (or the modifier) until one of the latest releases where Villagers began trading the pages, which is how it is now.

I thought that was aroma related. There is discussion of random portals in the aroma thread. But I can see the chance that warp pages are involved. No mining world in the test instance so easy enough to test the warp pages to see if it happens on 1.7.

I like the idea of a community modpack. Gives us a chance to experience new things. Playing with the same old mods every time gets kind of boring, to be frank. No matter how much they update.

There's already a pack like that being tested. :P I have no idea what it's called, but I talked to the creator when he first submitted it and he said he wanted to call it "Splash Landing."

However, a water based HQM pack would be neat. I'm sure my imagination could work something up for it.

Also, I need someone to be a guinea pig on SP3. This may or may not involve killing me multiple times with a weapon I give you.

Doesn't all modded change what you normally do in Vanilla anyway?
(Not saying it's a bad idea, just curious as to what you mean by that).

And basically, yeah. It's also nice to get a reward for your efforts. Like, some things in minecraft (both modded and vanilla) are incredibly costly for no reason at all.

Examples: Vanilla ----> Beacon.
Modded: ----> Reinforced Watering Can


Edit: I dislike Mo' Creatures entirely, but it has nothing to do with the mod author. (He is a cunt though).

All of the dimensions work just fine (I obviously didn't test large amounts of Myst ages), but none of them crash the server.

I tried to test some blood magic stuff but I couldn't get the orb of testing to work, so if anyone can figure out something there I'd be very grateful.

Structures spawn correctly. I haven't found any bugs with any world gen structures and they seem to be rare enough to not intrude on building but common enough to not have to run a million blocks to find them.

Lucky blocks spawn correctly.

RogueLikes spawn differently according to biome, apparently. Found a nifty ice one.


Umm, let's see...
The RF Baubles mod works, but I'm not entirely sure
how
it works. I'll do some research and properly test it. Blocks dont crash the server though, so that's a start.

Botania stuff works, as expected.

Ludicrite is ludicrous, but it works.

TT works

TF works and is beautiful as always. All the bosses work (and hurt. ow.)

just to point out: It isn't the server that's down but Multicraft itself. Forgecraft is down because of this too. Entire Mutlicraft CP is nothing but an Error 500.

Exceeding allotted server space wouldn't give an Error code when trying to sign into the CP, though.
We've exceeded server space before and we could still log in to view the servers and everything, we just couldn't start the servers.
Now we can't even log in. Simply clicking the "Servers" tab gives an Error 500, as does trying to sign in to the account.

Chests, Jabba barrels/deep storage units for storing a lot of one type of item (cobble, dirt, sand, gravel, blackberries).

Umm...that's about it. You can try making an basic sorting system with EnderIO. That's pretty simple imo.

Watch of Flowing Time isn't available as a crafting recipe even though the config for it is set to "True."

Reasons we need the Watch of Flowing Time -

I've had my neutron collectors (x4) running for almost 2 weeks and I barely have a stack of Neutronium

Tried it in SSP first when I noticed it was disabled.
Made the same setup I had for neutronium currently and it worked alright.
I suppose it could be different for a server. I just don't want to wait 2 weeks to get the neutronium I need lol

I'm personally fine with get a 1.15.2 pack up and running. I have a feeling it'll be a while before they have a stable 1.16 pack available.

Mine did that the first time too for some reason. It was a complete flat ocean world. Second world was fine though.
