Regardless, presuming that because I played bad my first 2 games and got lynched twice means i should be lynched again by default makes absolutely no sense logically. If it was an honest vote, it's crappy logic. If it was a random vote, then say so.

I'm still here, been following along, but haven't seen anything to make me change my vote. Glork seems overly defensive at times, but not enough to warrant anything from me. I'm keeping an eye on who's on the albert bandwagon, since i think he's scum but also find several of those voting for him suspicious.

i didnt like Guardians last post. i havent checked this game in quite a while, and i can barely remember why i was voting for YB, so Guardian will suffice as the play for today.

That last sentence screams scum to me, but also makes me keep an eye on Albert. You could be trying to encourage an albert lynch without voting for him to keep yourself uninvolved, or you could be trying to discourage voting for albert because he's one of your scumbuddies, but (please correct me if this is the improper use of the term) that turns into WIFOM real fast. Another possibility is you could be trying to distance you and Guardian with what you know is an unpopular lynch choice right now so that if one of you turns up scum the other is more protected.

If I were scum, I would not have to be 'more convinced' of whether X was more likely to be anything than Y, unless I was the SK -- in which case, it would still be in my best interests to be lynching mafiates today.

So what do you think of the alleged slip itself?

Oh, I believe that you just made a mistake, it was how quick you snapped to the defensive, and have been doing most of the game, that bugs me.

Glork's explanation was much less defensive and aggressive than I'd have expected from Glork. johhan, can you please explain how you'd have expected town to respond differently to their slip being pointed out?

I would have expected maybe a single "Oops" post, and maybe explain it when pressed (as he was by HungryJoe).

I wouldn't have thought much of it if Glork had stopped with post 709. 711 is what got my attention. He makes post 709, and a half an hour later, he's still thinking up explanations for it without anyone new pressing him on it.

Out of curiousity, did you notice at 11:30 pm that Glork's post was made at essentially the same time as mine, so it's entirely possible that he did not seem my post when he made his?

I did notice, but it's not relevant to my argument. My point was that nobody else had prodded him on it. He wasn't under any more pressure than he was on post 709.

I know, I've already said I think the typo was just that, a typo. It's the reaction I'm voting him for.

No, MBL. In my experience, they are

entirely

too unreliable to be counted on as a tell. The way in which a player reacts can be telling, but the typo/slip itself... not so much.

But BM is posting in other games, but not here. So while he may have exams and such, why did he choose to lurk in

game, and not lurk in a few others? I would like BM to explain this.

Some games might be more exciting than others, But he should at least make an effort to weigh in every now and then. If he has been posting somewhere else and not here, then he does need to pipe up and talk.
