The problem with random lynching is that you're just one step closer to losing. On most setups you can only afford to mislynch maybe twice, or three times before it's game over. It's therefore pointless to waste one of those chances on a silly hunch on day 1.

The site I play on usually starts on a night round; that way the town usually has

some

information on the day round. No Lynch usually isn't necessary unless the game starts on a day.

I think Not_Mafia is at least somewhat scummy judging by his behaviour. I understand why mala & tammy voted for me, but I think N_M was quite quick to jump on the bandwagon.
Hm.. I don't know. His response to my earlier post seemed unusual.

It barely acknowledges my previous explanation on me not liking random voting. To me it looks like more of a prod to try and get information from me.
Perhaps if he is mafia, he may trying to get me to roleclaim. Or, he's trying to get me to say something that sounds "bad" in context and thus justifying his vote.

Maybe I am just being paranoid, but it seems like the best thing to do at the moment.

Games on mafiascum are much more day-phase-oriented than on other sites. If you don't catch a majority of the scum during the day, you're probably going to lose.

TSO: I was actually thinking the opposite, that your play after the game started has been anti-antagonistic. So far you've placed a random vote on a player not in the game and done nothing else, despite posting like over a bajillion times.
