When you spend 90% of your leisure time on mafia games, 5% on the other forums on MS.net, 1% reading through old games for scummies, 1% looking through V/LA thread and/or apologising for sickness/flood/some other weird occurance that kept you away from mafia, 1% reading through games with people you're playing now to understand them better and the remainder when I'm away from the computer thinking about whether person A is lying about being a doc, counting odds in mafia games, debating meta-gaming and wifoming to myself, thinking about endgame situations.

There's a singing show called superstar running on tv, and the person with the lowest votes gets booted off the show each week. Oddly, the judges will vote too, and the public will know their results, but their vote doesn't influence who gets kicked off. My dad said singer X who gets the lousiest judge score will eventually win, because his fans will automatically vote more to show support.
The tagline: I spent 2 hours explaining to my dad how that is WIFOM. Around 30 minutes actually explaining what WIFOM was, then 1.5 hours debating over whether that was WIFOM.

When you check mafia every 20 min to see if it's up.
When you appear on scumchat because you're so absolutely desperate and you have an exam in 6 hours.
When you repeatedly type: going to lynch.

I was in the middle of a computing exams and had a long question that was way too simple for 15 marks. Then I started thinking about whether the lecturer was trying to trick us. Then whether I was trying to outsmart the lecturer. Then about whether the lecturer was trying to trick dumb students who wouldn't think.
After the exam ended, my friend asked me whether I could remember the answer to that question, and the only thing I could think of was WIFOM.
