Yes, it's very suspicious. We don't even have a real page and everyone is already jumping on john.
Vote blahgo
Fos IH and VitaminR
Seems like an attempt to start a bandwagon to me.
Vit for starts it
IH agrees to keep it moving
blahgo doesn't even give an explanation, thats why he gets the vote. We need more to go on before we lynch in a nightless- Occult

You voted 3 times in four posts and was extreamly defensive. You even switched votes while I was posting. I veiwed it as scum freaking out over the fact he was getting votes.now a ranger wrote:because I couldn't get used to a nightless, I acted weird and didn't know how to adapt after IH and others said that bandwagoning isn't inherently bad.
That doesn't make me scum.
Next, I really don't see much difference in town play for a nightless over a regular game. Especially during the first day, you're in a hole you dug for yourself and, IMO, your hiding behind the "I'm a newbie excuse" to get yourself out of it.- Occult

I'm playing in a few games with john and in those games he has asked a pregame question that ended up racking 4 or 5 votes on him.VitaminR wrote: when it came to the John wagon early on (which had a substantial amount of content for an early wagon) he was very cautious
What he didn't do is vote 3 times, sporaticly attack people and run off around 10 posts in 7 mins. NAR freaked out and I voted for him.
That said the fact NAR had been screwing around is possible so,
Unvote
I'll ignore NAR's previous posts.- Occult

Bad Pregame post does not equal a lynch.VitaminR wrote: That's a double standard.
Wanting an explanation for freaking out is reasonable. NAR didn't give it so I was pushing for an explaination from NAR.
On another note, since it is likely that NAR was screwing around, I don't carry his actions over to skruffs.- Occult

Vitamin on the John bandwagon:VitaminR wrote: Occult, bandwagons are just a way to make people come out of the woodwork. I don't see how you can FOS me for starting one. It was pretty valuable as I see it.
I also don't like how you're almost assuming John to be town.
Vitamin on the NAR bandwagon:VitaminR wrote:It's a valid question, but you're more likely to be scum for it. Hence the vote.
The fact that it was pre-game doesn't change your awareness of your alignment.
VitaminR wrote:He is still a rather... unconventional player.
I don't think now a ranger is that obvious.
Having bad reasons for a vote is not necessarily indicative of scum, but I'd like to hear more about this. I missed it at the time. Could you outline what happened?
If nar and mustafa are scum together, I doubt mustafa would have been that obvious. It makes me inclined to think of mustafa as town, for limiting the reasons he can use to justify his votes.
VitaminR wrote:
I really like mustafa's post. now a ranger has a record of being unreliable, irrational and generally trying to screw over the town.
Also, the people who votehop blatantly are not necessarily scum. Moving your vote freely is somewhat advantageous to scum, but if that is quickly lost if you do it too openly. No one is going to join you in your vote and people will suspect you for it.
I don't like the jump on now a ranger at all.
And now Skruffs(NARs replacement) and Vitamin are very organized in attacking me.
1) why are you so sure skruffs is a townie?
2) I believe you mentioned earlier about how a double standard is scummy. So why are you using a double standard?
3)FOS VitaminR and Skruffsas a possible scum pair.- Occult

I have a few things to say...
Firstly, That was mustafa. I didn't expect anyone to answer the question. Mustafa explained his reasons for answering the question. Read a bit closer next time.Skruffs wrote: Then you turn around again, ask John if he's scum, and for Blahgo's reasoning.
John says he's scum,a nd you say "Ha, works every time". This kind of thing is silly and has been used by scum to undermine wagons on partners. Because then you can say "Well, if he was really scum, would he have answered that?" etc etc, very wifomy and distracting.
I never Assumed john was town, I just pointed out that in the other game I played he did the exact same thing and i believed it wasn't enough for a lynch. As for him being scum in the other game I don't know because it hasn't finished.Skruffs wrote:asked why you were assumign John was town
Again, actually read my posts, don't skim them. blahgo didn't give a reason for jumping on john's bandwagon. That was scummy. I fosed IH and vitR because they seemed to be coordianating the bandwagon on john. No mention of john's townieness on my part, just pointing out possible scummy behavior.Skruffs wrote:Then, you turn 180, vote blahgo and fos IH and VitR, because they had all voted John.
and then comes NAR,
I've explained my reasoning in a few posts. NAR went wacky and didn't give an explaination of it.
This is where my post comes in:
VitR is being hypocritical and I would like to know why. Going on Vit's defence of NAR and you agreeing 100% with Vit makes me suspicious. Also skruffs what do you think of VitR?- Occult

And that's where the double standard comes in. You accused me of defending john while attacking NAR. Saying my double standard was scummy.VitaminR wrote:Occult, I don't see a double standard. I attacked John and defended nar. They did different things.
And BM,
My accusations don't solely have to do with john's wagon. IH hasn't said anything since skruffs came in.- Occult

I do, actually, but I like to wait four or five days before I call someone on lurking. Because lurking doesn't neccesarily equal Mafia. While I believe that not posting is harmfull to the town, I have more suspicion with VitR at the moment.Battle Mage wrote:and you dont find his silence atall odd?
Also, I don't recall seeing IH post anywhere lately which makes me conclude something is up with him.- Occult

mustafa15 wrote:Dude, there's 8 townies and 4 scum. What do you think he's going to claim?
Unfortunatly he is right and a claim is useless here. I'm Vannilla townie, not that you'll beleive me.
I would suggest having everyone post their resons for voting or not voting me before you actually lynch me. That way you know everyone's stance after you get the results from the lynch. I believe this will be much more beneficial for the town.- Occult

Currently on Occult's Wagon
-IH seems, IMO, to lean mostly towards town...
-VitR and skruffs are leading the wagon and gave the reasons we've discussed on the last few pages
-I don't really like BM's vote, he just hopped on to put me a -2 without much reason.
-Mustafa seems the scummiest person on the wagon, he points out problems with other people and then votes for me.
I still have a bad feeling with VitR and skruffs, but they've been consistant. Mustafa and BM will be the two to watch tommorow.
We also haven't heard much from those who arn't wagoning. It's also important we get thier clear oppionions.- Occult

No, I'm at lynch -2.
I will have to say I disagree with john's FoS on IH. As I said IH has been open with his accusations. I'm not saying he's town, but he is the least scummy on the wagon.
What strikes me is BM still hasn't justified his reason for voting me. Instead he told a joke (? I don't know what to make of his post, to be honest).
Also,
I didn't lie, I miscounted.IH wrote:5)

I'm going to actually have to agree with VitR on this one....VitaminR wrote:Elias, way to not take a stand.
You don't seem to support me but your not willing to lynch me.
Aimee was just pointing somthing out, she's been lurking this whole game but she hasn't posted anything exactly scummy. As for not wanting the focus off me... I'm sorta about to be lynched so drawing the focus from me could look scummy.- Occult

No, that is completly not what I meant.Battle Mage wrote:
Only if you ARE scum. this quote personally eliminates any doubts i might have had.Occult wrote: I'm sorta about to be lynched so drawing the focus from me could look scummy.
BM
This does not only stand if mafia is getting lynched. Changing the subject doesn't just mean, "let's get some heat off my partner" it could be a mafia member who doesn't want to be on a townie lynch, to look better. (this is also for a townie that wants to do the same thing.)
I pointed it out because we need stances or explainations of why they are not stances so that we can have as much information tommarow. This way nobody can say twist their reasoning tommarrow.- Occult

Yeah, I haven't played that well this game and will most likely get lynched for it. But I wouldn't count on all your, "he's defending Occult so he must be scum" arguments.IH wrote:If there have been more than 4 people on him, which I doubt will all be scum, then he's clearly been scummy, and probably scum.- Occult

make your mind up.

What's with this lack of agression?
My thoughts are if:
BM being agressive= Town
BM being calm= a possiblity of being scum.- Occult

Mustafa has said just enough to kinda float through.
16 posts
1. /in
2. Random Vote
3.Jumps on Blahgo (little explaination)
4.A joke.
5.Responds to VitR's accusation of being Non-commital.
6.Question if BM had read anything.
7.Says NAR was messing around.
8.Comment on NAR not being serious
9.Says blahgo only got to -3
10. Says he had this insane post ready but firefox froze. Then Agrees with everyone else and Votes me
11.A post about the set up of the game
12. Gives a vague reason for voting me "I also think he's scum
13. Says it was obvious why he voted for me (No further explanation)
14. Calls Tony a dimbass and brings up another game
15.Stated he noticed a simularity between two games with VitR
16.Comment on the mod adding to romanus's post
Overall, there isn't much with mustafa's posts. He uses recycled accusations and gives little reason for his actions and I find him pretty scummy up to this point.
VitR mentioned in a post that he was sure that mustafa was town. Why do you think that?- Occult

Come on now, you don't need to get nasty. I'm not defending myself because I screwed up. It was much better to attempt to use my lynch to get information for the town instead of whine about how I'm going to get lynched.Aimee wrote:As IH says, Occult is the best target, and the fact he can't even come up with a defense himself shows how weak and scummy even he knows his actions were. - Occult
