First read through of the game gave me the impression Goodmorning is quite the weaksauce poster here. He applies very few pressure. Even though he has the second most posts in this game, his actual influence and presence seems very slim. Scumread.

ArcAngle also appears suspicious to me. She repeatedly states that 'this behaviour can't be town' (refering to ChrisP). ChrisP has to be scum and even if he is town it's worth it to lynch him. Yet ArcAngel jumps off the wagon because ArcAngel doesn't have time for ChrisP and doesn't want to waste her vote on ChrisP... I have no clue what this is supposed to mean and the vote on Buckwild for OMGUS reasons seems a shitty replacement for it.

Since it's almost night time I don't really feel like putting up a townlist here. You'll have to make do with my scumreads. Between these two I really feel like lynching Goodmorning more. His 'hey what is compromise for?' is just straight up disturbing. There are two scum among us so making compromises is just a really bad idea and Goodmorning should know this.

Malakittens
: Could you post the exact deadline? Not sure how much time is remaining. If the deadline is reached before I post again I would like to make use of the extra 24 hours.

Vote: Goodmorning

That's L-2. Depending on how much time remains and people's willingness to vote Goodmorning, I might switch to ArrcAngel.

False dilemma. What you should do is push for your scumreads, not 'compromise or no-lynch'.
By the way, your compromise on Buckwild makes no sense. The last time you mentioned him was on November 20th and at that time you had him as leaning town. What changed your mind?
In post 490, Brian Skies wrote:Also, no-lynch isn't a terrible option, but it might put us in a mylo situation.
No-lynch is actually a terrible idea since it accomplishes nothing and gives us zero information.

This town is very inactive so close to deadline. People should state their lynch intentions NOW.

Even if more people were interested in a Buckwild wagon, there is no time for that. Deadline is in two hours and you will need to decide between Goodmorning and me.

Jmo, at a time like this your vote is crucial. You cannot vote without explaining your thoughts. Why do you prefer me over Goodmorning?

We have four dead vanilla townies. I suggest we massclaim to get some clears and some information. Since ArcAngel just quickvoted in lylo, I'd like her to start and proceed popcorn style from there.
Anyone disagree with this?

ArcAngel, I
strongly
suggest you unvote. We have four dead vanilla's, there's so much to gain from a massclaim now. Voting without a massclaim is just stupid.

If we confirm one more person, we've won.
I'd rather you didn't put your own perspective as fact. This is what we objectively know:

ArcAngel vs Buckwild -> one of these is scum.
Jmo16mla vs Brian Skies -> one of these is scum.
Mindgamer -> confirmed town.

See how great claiming is? We already got one clear. I'm VT, so we have the following possibilities for ArcAngel/Buckwild:
One claims VT, one claims Bulletproof -> Bulletproof is clear, lynch VT.
Both claim Bulletproof -> not helpful, but neither will be nightkilled anyway.
One claims VT, one claims Doctor -> Jmo and Doctor are clear, lynch Brian and VT.
Both claim Doctor -> Jmo is clear, lynch Brian.
One claims Bulletproof, one claims Doctor -> not helpful, but neither will be nightkilled anyway.

Of these five possibilites, three give us another clear and a mafia. The other two don't help, but they don't hurt either. In other words,
massclaim is good
. ArcAngel and Buckwild, claim in your next post.

While reading this post, keep in mind I'm confirmed town (thanks to Arc vs Buck and Brian vs Jmo votes).

I retract my claim. I'm not a VT, I'm the 1-shot Bulletproof Townie.

Yesterday I gave a convenient overview what the remaining claims in massclaim would mean for getting clears and who we should lynch. The thing is though, one option in that overview is missing. It's the option where both ArcAngel9 and Buckwild claim VT. In this scenario, Brian would be cleared and Jmo would be lynched. In the other options, claiming VT would get the VT lynched. In other words, the overview makes it seem like claiming VT always ends bad for the VT.
This was done on purpose. The point of the overview is not to outline the possible consequences of the massclaim, it's a trap for the scum. The point is to lure the scum into claiming a non-VT role.
Since I'm already cleared, anyone claiming Bulletproof or Doctor has to be scum. The trap was set up for this reason. And it worked! Buckwild just claimed Bulletproof. Buckwild is now confirmed scum.

Vote: Buckwild

If anyone has any problems understanding this, feel free to ask questions. I could have waited with my reveal until ArcAngel9 claimed, but her (VT) claim isn't going to change things and I didn't want to take any risks with how impulsive ArcAngel9's voting behaviour has been.

We have two weeks to talk about Brian vs Jmo tomorrow. That seems like ample time. We could lose ArcAngel9's input if Buckwild selfvotes, but to be honest I don't think I value the opinion of someone that quickvotes in lylo on gut much.

Added to that, I'm already pretty sure where I will put my vote. Let's see here:

- Jmo is very active and contributing well, Brian is nowhere to be seen.
- I played with Jmo tracker before and he plays exactly the same here.
- Jmo was the first to claim a PR and his Tracker claim fits with my Bulletproof role.
- Brian is conveniently the counterclaim to his own guilty.
- Brian is conveniently claiming the safest role to counterclaim the Tracker.
- Brian has odd choices for his Jailkeeps, especially Night 2.
- Jmo breadcrumbs in the exact same way he breadcrumbed Tracker in the game I played with him.

Buckwild flipping vanilla goon gives even more reason to believe Brian is scum. Let's look at this:

In Brian's scenario, we are in the Jailkeeper/BP/Roleblocker setup. Since scum have a Roleblocker, they know we're in either Jailkeeper/BP/Roleblocker or Cop/Doc/Roleblocker setup. After Night 2, four vanilla's died so scum knew out of the four townies still alive two were PR. At that point Jmo, presumably the roleblocker, fakeclaimed Tracker. He would get counterclaimed by either Jailkeeper or Cop. If it weren't for VT fakeclaim shenanigans, we would normally lynch between power roles. If Jmo were to lose at this PR vs fake PR exchange, scum would auto lose. Cop/Doc with two unclears is auto win for town and Jailkeeper with two unclears (and a clear BP) is autowin for town.
It would make sense for Buckwild to fakeclaim Tracker since his lynch would still give Jmo the ability to roleblock Jailkeeper/Cop. Then he could still try to get ArcAngel9 lynched. Jmo fakeclaiming instead of Buckwild lowers scum's win chances significantly. It doesn't make sense.

I am going to give you both a final stand before I decide on a hammer. I will warn though that Brian needs something amazing to change my mind.

I don't care about a meaningless record like 'shortest day in a Newbie' and it's not going to make me hurry up. Don't expect this game to break any records.
Every single post of yours is making me think you're town which is exactly why I want to hear from Brian. I fear confirmation bias.

I would've liked to hear more reasons for why Jmo is scum or why Brian is town. The setup probabilities are strongly in Jmo's favour, there's no denying that. I think I'm ready at this point.

CrisP played very well imo. Very active and decently assertive. Mafia is mostly about getting correct reads. It's not a townie's job to concern themselves with 'acting like town'. A townie's job is to pressure other players and read them correctly. In that regard, I don't think it's fair that Goodmorning blames Crisp for her own incorrect read. Crisp had plenty of content up. If you read that incorrectly, you'll have to look at your own mistakes first before blaming others.

As for the game itself, I enjoyed it. Mafia were unfortunate both PRs survived to 5-player lylo. Buckwild failing to catch my trick decided the game imo. In a normal Buckwild vs ArcAngel9 situation, I think ArcAngel9 would've been lynched. Jmo proved very reluctant to vote Buckwild even after he was confirmed mafia and I was pretty 50/50 myself. Jmo did a good job posting very actively in end game though, that made the final decision a lot easier.
