You can't judge based on one game. Read 5-10 scumgames of his, tell me that his play does not look like his scumgame because it lacks x common feature that's present in 90% of his scumgames, then I'll listen to you.

Perhaps you should have read the second part of that line? The one where I say that if desp is town tne becomes a serious option? You know, because desp has been hard-defending tne for weak reasons?

That's not how it works. There's a reason slimer has such a good scum record. Towns just don't lynch him. He won't give us something to figure him out by, and his lynch is just going to be more costly later on.

Ooh, but I don't like Wisdom's tne vote. He seems way too glad about having found a suitable mislynch target that he can write off as a DL lynch.

I could point at anyone and call them a DL lynch, why would it have to be specifically tne? Your assumptions are wild and bad.

But PA had just started the tne wagon. There had been so much discussion about the wagons and mollie et al, that pointing at one of those as a DL lynch would have raised more questions, whereas a brand new DL lynch is perfect to latch on to as scum.

Other than this I've played two games with scum-slimer. One was my second game where I was still inexperienced and fell for his newbie-card, and the other he replaced out but I had kind of pegged him already.

Can someone point me to a game of slimer's town/scum? I have him down as extremely null at the moment, but I'm not about to policy lynch someone. I hate "metaing" people, but apparently it's all the rage anymore; so I guess I'll have to get hip and read things.

My association graph, btw, was between Om/mollie/Wisdom. I'm unsure how these last two pages effect it yet, and I'm actually starting to think I was chasing clouds with the whole idea. The gist to me was that I think Om/mollie are the same alignment and wisdom is the opposite alignment as them. I'm unsure how I came to that conclusion right now, though(my handwriting is...poor, to say the least).

If he's delivering as little content as he is now, I find his two games virtually indistinguishable.


That's not quite true Wisdom. You won't get the same feel as if you're playing with them, but some elements of a person's play are pretty distinguishable by a decent meta-dive.

I disagree. The only thing that happens if you try to meta someone you don't know is read everything the way you want and get biased impressions. Only by actually playing with the person and actually trying to read them (or figure how to deal with them, if scum) you learn how the person is playing/thinking. Only then you can use that knowledge to read them in the future.

I don't like nat either but you are going to have to really push it and sell in order to get it to go through so close to deadline.

I think it was weak, not bad. And even that push was head and shoulders above the scumplay I'm familiar with from him.

My read from early in the game is still valid. I saw scum-TNE up close and personal in Micro 150 and this just isn't it.

no. my thinking is that there are you and Bert particularly, who are saying you think she is town. and if she is town, she's good to have in the game.
i don't really like the idea of lynching her first day. but you remember my post - where i said i was certain that she was scum? i still have that in my mind, and i could totally picture her as scum saying that. plus, i don't like that they had arc as unsure, when arc has been obvious town. and i also didn't like their stance on tater... saying that they had to be scum, because of cog dis. not too mention... several pages ago, she has me as scum. if she suspects that i'm scum, she's going to keep her vote on me (i would think).. but instead the vote was moved to thenewearth, then slimer.
