I find sal's change in voting weird. He seems to be voting for shadi, he thinks he is scummy, but twice now he's voted for the L-1 vote, as if to look town, even if he is suspicious of Shadi. And he votes for gray for not pushing his siv vote, when he himself cannot commit to pressuring shadi.
Im starting to doubt shadi/maki. Scum are not this obvious.
Alex, why are you okay with a lynch today? We've had like what, 3 days irl?

Im not saying you cant commit to a lynch. Im saying you voting for someone who put someone at L-1 was like its made to look like your going off townie points. You criticize someone for not pressuring, yet you cant commit to pressuring someone. L-1 =/= autolynch. L-1 = PRESSURE. There is no dear of quickhammers because they might be venged if the person lynched was Vengeful Townie. The thing is, you criticize someone for not pressuring, yet you yourself also disengages in pressure

Here's the thing. People being at L-1, are not necessarily going to be quickhammered. This set up enables us to put pressure with an L-1 without the fear of a quickhammer because scum cant risk being vengekilled as they do not have a functional night kill.
I have a problem with Sal's insistence, especially with saying Maki quickhammers as town.
1. Quickhammers are less likely to happen in this set up
2. Why act so protective of Maki, especially after I said "quickhammerers will most likely be venged"
In post 28, SalmonellaDreams wrote:DrPepper, that L-1 vote was awful, especially on page one.
The whole maki shadi thing is interesting, but can we really find associations this early? VOTE: DrPepper
You vote for someone who puts another person at L-1... I don't have much of a problem yet...
however your claim that we can't find any associations yet is lazy at best and anti town at worst.
In post 32, Shadi1337 wrote:Kudos to dr.pepper for trying, even if it's early. His analysis is fair.
Salmo, do you have any other leads you'd like to follow? (You were on Maki's rvs omgus vote before?)
Are you trying to subtly push me onto Maki right here?
The relationship between Maki and Shadi is interesting. It's still to early to learn anything of it, but we'll definitely have to go back to look at it.
Anyways, VOTE: Shadi
I liked the pressure that was on him, and he seemed like he was trying to subtly get me to vote for Maki.
Shadi's play here does seem slightly odd but he does make a good point that you were on to Maki about that RVS OMGUS vote... why not keep pressuring that vote? to paraphrase youreslf;
"how come you didn't push harder on siv? He ignored your question.
What have you noticed about his play?"
In post 54, SalmonellaDreams wrote:greygnarl, how come you didn't push harder on siv? He ignored your question.
What have you noticed about his play? That was a very open ended statement and it seems like you're just hopping on the bandwagon.
VOTE: greygnarl
Again you vote for someone putting another person at L-1, not too concerning yet but part of your reason for voting for Grey kind of contradicts wwith your reasons for going after Shadi...
In post 70, SalmonellaDreams wrote:I'd be uncommitted to pressuring someone if I just let it go when they didn't answer.
Here's the thing: They did answer.
Since Shadi beat around the bush for part of my question, I'll ask again, with additional L-1 pressure. VOTE: Shadi
And now you vote for Shadi and put him at L-1 (apparently)... does that mean you will now vote for yourself?
you admit to doing it to pressure Shadi but that is exactly why DrP and Grey put people at L-1... contradictions and circular reasoning galore!!!
In post 71, SalmonellaDreams wrote:Speaking of that, Maki, don't hammer without a claim, and don't ask for a claim for no reason.
No no don't hammer it'll look bad ect ect ect... hint hint hammer Shadi please Maki winky face

I thought you were talking about jeep's common tells. Nevertheless, Im fine with associative tells, sometimes it wors. It doesnt mean we should automatically discredit it

Let me explain why I think associative tells is important in this game.
This set up includes a role that makes one faction autolose upon death, thats each Magfia's Godfather. Even without a flip, we can still base our suspicions on associative tells simply because of the fear of losing the GF. Hence it disallows both bussing and buddying, because once the mafia lose the GF, they lose. So we can use associative tells to see if someone is avoiding talking to someone. Or if someone has an association with someone, the point is, this set up helps us see the potential pairings and hopeople interact with one another, even without a flip. Because obviously, the mafia would be afraid to get their GF lynched right?

I am legitimately stupid? What? Thanks for the ad hominem, very useful. You are also a player who is incredibly great and a paragon to all us players on site. All hail the mighty and all knowing greygnarl, whose wisdom we shall all bow down to because apparently he's the best fucking player this site has ever seen! /sarcasm
Have I pushed a lynch one a partner of yours? Maybe thats why you think its 'garbage'
Show me where I've misrepped.
If you tell someone to stop talking about associative tells, does it not mean you think they dont matter?

You dont like all associative tells
now
, amirite? Youre being nitpicky because youre making it seem like Im implicating you for discrediting all associative tells. When its clear right now you dont want them
Its just my way of saying your meta case against me is wrong and people stop being timid town and try to make their scum and town games similar because its optimal play for them in the long run

Blind endorsement of guyett's case? I have a scum read on Sal. That makes no sense. Btw, you said Maki is scum, without saying why exactly. Now I actually am curious. What do you think of my case on Sal. I think he could scum.
Btw, Maki is really anti town. He says he posts because he doesnt want to be replaced, yet he posts no actual content. Like, dafuck man.
Hi notscience, you stalker. Tell me why it was bad to state those things that potentially help us find scum?

Im willing to think Fifty and Sal are scum together. This goes all the way back to grey. Plus im getting bad vibes from the whole "does mafia have daytalk" thing. Its clearly in the sample role PMs.

Notscience, duh Im not. And why is Sal town?
Hey Maki, youre posting while not commenting. That is the very definition of active lurking.
NS hasnt been contributing and has been his usual troll ns. So why does it make him scum Fifty, he plays like this all the time. You've pretty much expressed suspicion of everyone this game.

your*
Well it can be a bad thing, scum have two problems with manufacturing tells, creating too many town tells or creating too many scum reads. The latter enables them to just choose who to lynch based on popular vote
