Well... if you think about it, it's a fail system because not enough people are going to vote.

The vote count gets pretty high kinda (around 1k votes total) and as the game goes on, very few more votes come in, and when a big change comes in the game late, it's no surprise that the hashtag count is going to not change much. Even if everyone who voted before votes again for the same person, it wouldn't change much.

They have tried to shamelessly reset the count before. It was pretty bad and obvious though, and last game I watched they didn't do it again.

why not just do a fading echos system where newer votes have more weight than older ones

if there's one thing I have learned, it's that riot really doesn't think things through when no ones complaining. Not that anyone watching these games (nonpros) has a voice in it, nor does anyone really care about the counter.

Well XDG doesnt have top 2 players at any position just in NA. As a team, imo they benefited from a lot of things going in their favor in NA scene. The bottom of NA was complete trash (relatively speaking obviously), CLG was out of whack with bot lane being mixed up; TSM randomly dropped out of the top 2 with poor play.

Teams in NA better than XDG: C9, CLG, TSM

I'd put them in the same tier as CRS and DIG.

please lol

there are no world class top laners in NA. dyrus/balls/quas/zionspartan/impact are all the same to me. World class top laner has already been defined by korea/china and its a lot better than NA. I'm surprised though impact not doing as well as I thought and making some bad plays. I think impact/quas stick out a little more than the other 3 though.

NA's best position is support. aphro/xpecial are legit really strong. I'd put aphromoo in top 5 support in the world and xpecial top 10. I think NA adcs arent that bad either. But the problem is that china ADCs are mega good so yeah.

statistics shouldn't be just put up in a vacuum.

especially in league... there aren't really any statistics in the current metagame that will really be accurate in rating any player/team. Yeah... I can't think of anything. KDA is alright I guess but not really.
