1. You have no idea when the day will end and the lynch will occur. I have already decided how long each day will last (i.e. Day One will end on December 25, 2009 at 4:00pm EST), regardless of anything. So, you are kind of already at deadline; you just don't know when it is.

2. The player with the most votes when the day ends is the lynch. It does not matter if that player has 1 vote or 12 votes.

3. If there is a tie between multiple players when the day actually ends, I will choose between them randomly. If no one has any votes, I will regard that as a tie at zero, and choose your lynch randomly between all of the players. It will be completely random!

If you are not participating (posting) I reserve the right to replace you without your consent. With this game mechanic, frequent participation is a must. Please let me know if something comes up where you will be away for a short time. In that case, it will be up to the remaining players to decide if they want a replacement.

Don't forget that in this game there is no such thing as a hammer vote. The day just ends at deadline. It can't finish earlier.

Having played in 100 mph, I'll point out that it really does go fast. Today could last only 3 or 4 days, so we really need to get out of the blocks as soon as possible. We can't really spend 2 days random voting and joking around.

Well, if several people have a few votes, we can react more effectively to new information than if only one person has a few. I guess I'm taking the verbose attitude to this: there should be about 3-ish "nominated" (ie at high risk) individuals so that we can react to info quickly (I mean, what if the cop claims half an hour before the deadline?) but the scum can't string up one individual suddenly without it being highly noticable.
