I also agree with this.
However, while Taz isn't the first person I think of when I think of FWAN, FWAN is the first thing I think about when I think of Tazaro.
If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?

In post 1577, animorpherv1 wrote:And are we really titling Tazaro for annoying half of the scummer population? Really?
the fact that the picspam is annoying is merely coincidental.
Rach says HUGS a lot, I got my title shot down by Buttons only/mostly because I didn't say "except when..." frequently enough, so the fact that he's getting nommed for saying/doing something a lot shouldn't be an issue since there's been precedents and exceptions before. [edit] Majiffy got Go With The Flow for posting flowcharts everywhere, yeah?
nth Duckface
as well, I could go either way on that.

Is that even a thing? If it is, it's a dumb thing.
Titles aren't some infinitely-coveted entity. They aren't (always) a reward for positive and constructive behavior. They're a user's identity within the community, which can be a good or bad light. If anything, the excessive hype we seem to place around titling reflects the kind of inane attention whoring that would make titling Tazaro
hilarious

Same reasons. Duckface is more appropriate given the constant pose, though.
And when I think of "British scummer", I think of PranaDevil, not izak.

But Duckface is way too straight forward. Ridiculously Photogenic has a nice irony to it that's still easy to understand.
Consider that my word of support for Ridiculously Photogenic.
Also the whole argument about people getting titles for bad things is dumb. Titles are meant to signify a defining thing of a user's persona on the forum. Whether it's a good thing or a bad thing doesn't matter.
“Leftover lady, let alone the strongest to be subdued.
If I only had the magic key that would unlock the realms to the plateau of the highest me.

He is known for spamming what looks like the same (bad) pictures of him over and over again, despite being told that he doesn't look good in any of them.

Deliberately putting the opposite to what someone is/does can be funny, but title also need to be understandable.
Because that's the joke?
I don't really know how to explain it beyond that, I thought it was self-explanatory. Duckface also references the actual pictures themselves instead of the frequency too.

I know what you're going for, it's just that the title says something completely different.
Sure, Tazaro is not photogenic at all. The thing about him that's memorable about him though is the fact that he keeps posting pictures which is separate from that.

It's much easier to have a negative "definining thing" than a positive. Giving people titles for bad things only encourages people who want a title to just start annoying everyone.
Where do you draw the line between "moderately inconvenient" and "bad posting"? If someone gets a title for pushing boundaries, they've got a site-given acknowledgment of their actions - almost an official loosening of the boundaries. Someone is then just going to push at the boundaries either in hopes of a title or just because they know it's been done before and people didn't mind.
Titles can be an encouragement to stand out in some unique way. If people start getting titles for standing out
negatively
then they just become an encouragement to stand out in any way possible - and it is so much easier to do things like, post an identical picture every day, than to have a fun quirk that people like or to be useful at something.

That's a bold claim. And I think it's the staff's job to moderate annoying users, not the title committee's. We just think of titles that fit.
Not because he looks good, rather he thinks he looks good. Why does Tazaro post so many pictures? Is he trolling us? No, the camera loves him, so he must share his built-like-Adonis body with the rest of the world. "Ridiculously Photogenic" highlights the irony in the vast gap between his delusional world and the general consensus about his appearance.

I didn't get that part from the earlier discussion, just the 'posts a lot of pictures'. It makes a lot more sense now.

I'd title the devil himself if you guys came up with a good one for him. Instead of wasting time and energy debating who deserves a title I'd rather just spend my time handing out as many good titles as possible.
