You aren't dumb.

As DMS said, it is partially for her name.

She loves to beat the crap out of anyone who spells it wrong because it is an unusual spelling of the name.

Thor calls her Tracey with an *e*. Just to emphasize to her that he spells it right.

It is kinda a username thing, and I can understand where that could go wrong. But I think its a big enough trait to be notable. Its got personality in it too.

And if you know Tracey, she's quite a cool gal, and a nice Mafia player as well.

Explain it to me.

I just realized I never explained this to you, TBM. I'm sorry.

Klick, a.k.a. Kondi2424 used to be a chronic lurker and flaker that never seemed to finish a game unless it was a scum game and even sometimes he wouldn't finish those. Then, over the summer this past year something happened and Kondi stopped replacing out.

Then he started playing on Klick to try out a new name for himself and he is quickly rising as one of the better scum players on the site (in my opinion) (fucking autocorrect).

It is quite amazing how he can go from a player that is very likely to be placed on blacklists for his inactivity to being a player that actually plays very well. I have seen a common statement pop up these past few months "I do not think we should be suggesting titles that encourage bad behavior". This title goes directly against that in a way that I think is simply wonderful for the community as a whole. Kondi's "resurrection" is exactly the type of behavior that I think we should be encouraging.

Born again obviously does not have to be the title that he gets and I am sure there are much better ones out there that potentially reflect his personality or his play, but it is succinct without getting dramatic and I like that.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm not entirely sure that he was "born again".

What I think is that it appears that way because he stopped joining so many games so he wouldn't flake out as much.

He has improved, and for that I do think he has done a great job. Yes there are outliers to that statement but overall Kondi is way better now.

I don't think the improvement was more significant than others improvements.

In fact, we have a scummy award for this same type of improvement. If you go in there and look at these nominated players you get the same stories as Kondi but the only difference to these stories is that Kondi made an alt and these players kept their account. I remember when Klick started coming up, he replaced into one of my games and one of the first PMs I received was "I'm Kondi".

Do I think that Kondi should not get a title? No. Do I think that Kondi's situation is significant enough to receive a title? No.

He went from a bad inactive player to a different account where he is averagely more active and had a few good games but still has his days. It just isn't enough to get a title from going from Zero to Hero.

And if Klick does get a title, it should be
Zero to Hero
or something similar. Kondi 2.0 or variants thereof are pretty bad. Having Kondi's name in the title is bad bad bad.

Casual.

Also the nomination isn't very good.

Either we should focus on a specific characteristic that we all know Korts to have (that isn't offensive) or just give up and stop thinking about random things. Because that was fitting trying to fit a person to the title. Not the other way around.

I feel as though we are attempting to think up names for MS's more notorious members.

Shouldn't we be focusing on players that are known for their Mafia abilities or their dedication to the site? I mean, a few quirky people here and there that we all love, but I really don't think that titling Umbrage and CooLDoG and the like will do anything but encourage.

Hobbes*

I've modded over Prohawk and he definitely has potential, but a title is for something that really defines a player as unique to the community in some way. If we gave titles to everyone who was good at Mafia, then titles wouldn't be so special.

In other words, you're title probably won't gain a lot of support, though it wasn't that bad of a suggestion.

Also, we make it a point to not really care about age for titles. Most of the people who are titled already spent a good time on the site to establish themselves in the community. It usually takes more than six months to get to that level of recognition. Though whether you've been here for a short time or a long time, if you are special in a particular way you receive a title.

Turning a catchphrase into a username pun for a title makes absolutely no sense, and it's not like they are the first person to have a catchphrase.

I don't even know them very well and I'd be willing to bet that they have a much better trait unique to them that can be used for a title.

Being good at mafia is more Scummy worthy than title worthy.

We like to keep titles as unique monuments of a person that's part of our community, and being good at Mafia isn't very unique.

Also, KK already had the title KhanMan.
