OK, then... "L.G.H.S." it is then... which is terribly ironic, since I really did go to Lake Geneva High School as a teenager. *shudders* Wow, maybe this is some sort of twisted karma backlash or something... heh.

By the way, it bears noting that MeMe and SaberKitty both have the same title of "Post or Perish". Is this intentional? Whatever happened to "this was supposed to be blue"?

Once again, all this does is reinforce how utterly meaningless the post count is. No offense to anyone intended, but many of our more skilled players have rather low post counts because they don't post unless they have something truly meaningful to say... and we have others here who post every time they get a wild hair. Yes, there is spamming going on around here nowadays, but does it hurt anything or anyone? And if people want to inflate their post count by letting us all know what they had for their last meal or whatever, it doesn't really matter in the long run, does it? I say let them post how they want, and just remember that the number of posts you have is completely irrelevant to your skill at Mafia.
'Nuff said.

I will allow someone else to tell the story (preferably MeMe, since it was nearly at her expense) to avoid what could be construed as shameless self-promotion.

My friend Nate, the guitarist in my band (http://www.roxtarband.com), wants me to tell you all that he thinks I should be nominated for "Houdini" as a title.
I think he sucks too...

Assuming that things haven't changed greatly since I was here regularly, that is correct, halfpint. And asking for a title is usually a sure way to delay actually
getting
one, although I think a bit of leniency toward those who don't know how this sort of thing works wouldn't be too far out of line.
'Course, that's just me, and I don't really get a vote... hehe.

Well, I'm not exactly mortally wounded by the suggestion... I just happen to like my current title, and besides: I think it's better to put positive stuff in people's titles than negative, even when the negative is a well-intentioned joke. After all, it's the recipient of the title that has to have it sitting right under his/her name, isn't it?
Just my thoughts... I promise not to be offended or anysuch regardless.

Well, I'm rather fond of my current title, but I suspect the number of people who will get the joke behind it is VERY small (because the game in which I earned it happened loooooooong ago), which causes it to lose a considerable amount of coolness.
So... any ideas for a new one?

Yes, that was me... but I agree that I'd rather not have a title based on someone else's name (although I
do
find some humor in mikehart's title being "Dourgrim Jr.").
The "Yep, again" thing was funny, though...
