Yes, but only because it occurred to me that I had to do that while I was trying to avoid looking like I was flailing.

it's because whenever I get votes I am aware of it and can't play the game without deciding to either address it or ignore it.

So you were afraid of looking like you were flailing?

He could be getting coached, though

ugh

on the one hand, too scummy to be scum is a logical fallacy
on the other hand, greygnarl isn't exactly known for his manipulation skills
on the third hand, Oversoul is still really scummy
on the fourth hand, greygnarl keeps digging himself deeper
on the fifth hand, I tend to get distracted arguing with people
on the sixth hand, Oversoul doesn't even care how deep he digs himself
on the seventh hand, humans only have two hands anyway.

ugh my painbrain.

I don't think I'm reaching. We know scum have daytalk as evidenced by the sample PM and by the fact that there are no nights anyway.

Why couldn't someone be coaching him? If here were your scumbuddy, wouldn't you coach him?

Grey has sheeped multiple reads, flipped out about the wagon on him, claimed he did the opposite and actually was apathetic to garner an artificial townread when he DID freak out (and he said the artificial townread explanation because it was a gambit to make him look to forward and brazen to be scum), and he used his rudeness towards ghostlin as an immediate reason to claim they weren't scum together which means he Obviously had acted that way to distance himself from ghostlin and is now trying to use it to his advantage with WIFOM

IT IS SO DAMN OBVIOUS

Also, the thing where townies shouldn't have to try to look town cuz doing what they are doing should make them look town doesn't work for me.

Even as VT I cannot play the game without wondering how people will perceive what I write.

Matt, you might be on to something here

how is it any different from Oversoul's behavior though? I agree that gnarl's responses to my questions are scummy as hell. Right now, I'm starting to feel rope on either of them has a good chance of netting us scum.

pedit: how is Oversoul low-hanging fruit when for ages I was the only one on him?

No, I'm referring to the low-hanging fruit can't be scum argument. That is a fallacy. Although let me tell you something. You've got one day to figure this shit out. You're unlikely to request a replacement. Explain how that in any way is pro-town.
