The problem with that, Claus, is that there's literally no point in doing anything on-server if it all gets washed away with a fair amount of regularity. If this is the attitude towards starting over, why not have regular server resets once a month? Because right now, that's essentially what we've been doing. Hell, it seems people have to start over more often than that.

I mean, I've been reaching towards trying to get some end-game items recently, but I will never be able to accomplish anything like that because it seems every time I'm close, I lose absolutely everything.

There are two servers up at the moment:
The vanilla server, at 46.105.234.0:25566 - The vanilla server is kinda low on people though: Only me, Rhinox and MME are ever in, and even then occasionally
Currently the FTB-DW20 modded server is more active. You can connect to it at - 46.105.234.4

Me, Rhinox and Klaz have settled somewhat close to each other (about 100 blocks distance from one another. If we all settle in this kind of distance, we can eventually build road/railroad networks to each other's places (given that FTB takes a bit more of space to set up a base than Vanilla).

I will be making my farms/workshops/etc public as I manage to set them down. Today was a bit laggy, so I just made some basic tools and left.

Depends on what you call the "original map" it is still the same one that MME and I started hosting last year (with the huge spawntown and stuff)

FTB server is down for now, some files got corrupted and we're having to start over. Klaz has a temporary FTB server here: 46.105.234.4

You need to download the Feed the Beast launcher from http://feed-the-beast.com/, create a profile, and select the DireWolf20 pack. Also see this post.

yes. apparently entering twilight crashes it. Maruchan, you said bukkit fucks up the other dimensions. maybe thats why this is happening?

Goddammit do we REALLY need bukkit? I mean I can understand wanting teleports and stuff on the vanilla server, but it's not necessary at all on FTB. We have jetpacks and stuff. Later in the game we have mystcraft portals. Bukkit teleporting just takes all the fun out of that.
