I imagine there's a town as well, so if the scum massclaims, then they'd lose anyway.

I don't know how good this actually is, but I think it could be cool:

The Skilled Assassin:

Active ability: You have one kill every night, unless your Passive Ability prevents it.

Passive ability: If you are targeted by a kill or an investigative action, you will kill the one performing the action. This prevents you from performing your active ability. However, the action directed at you will not go through. If multiple killing/investigative actions are directed at you, you will stop all of them, and kill all who performed an action towards you.

This is what it should have been, I think. Significantly less broken that way. Also, I added a wincon.

I'm not sure if this really belongs in this thread, but I think it's interesting, at least. It's a modified cult of sorts.

You are the
Virus Carrier
, the sole member of the
Infected
faction.

You will die from a terrible virus at the end of Night 2. Nothing can stop this.

On Night 2, you must choose another player to pass the virus to. As long as you are not killed by something other than the virus, this pass will be successful.

The player who receives the virus becomes a part of the
Infected
faction. They will die two Nights after receiving the virus, and be allowed to pass it to another player, just as you were.

The
Infected
faction will win the game if an
Infected
player is still alive at endgame.

I came up with what I thought was a terribly clever idea of a "virus" role. Player knows he'll die on N1, and must choose a player to infect. That player then gets the same role PM: you're dying tonight, choose someone to infect. The virus has to survive until x point, and everyone infected wins.

Turns out someone else had thought of it years ago. >_>
