I think Scully Stalker is fine for AniX, there's no real consensus for a change right now.

I prefer Munchkin to Whore for Max.

And I don't get Nemesis' or Frozen Atlantic's. What's with the rash of whores lately?
No, on second thought, don't answer that....

I like Thirteenthly and Glork'd (I think I said the latter before the crash).

Thok: That sounds like a reason to give him "Not a flavor whore", not flavor whore. Has he weighed in here to say if he likes the concept? I seem to remember previous Title Fairies having the "veto" clause for the nominee.

Meh. If I'm reading my Greek right, I'd prefer something like "άνδρες τιμής" (Mafioso, essentially) or something similar for Patrick, rather than just aping his icon. But really, I don't see the big point in making him a title in Greek/transliterated Greek that no one will understand. Is he of Greek origin or something?

I'm cool with "Does not play well with others" for LB. Those of you whoring for titles go back to the back of the line, kthx. Except Glork, who should still get some variant of the "Glork'd" we were discussing earlier. Spammer isn't funny or fair IMO.

Can I unsecond kilmenator's nom? I think we have a longstanding tradition of not basing one player's title on another player without STRONG correlation, and in this case the players don't even know each other.

Meh. The "Does not play well with others" thing is specifically tied to some behavior of LB, and I don't think it should be transferred. Unless LB/DB objects, I could see some merit to having a title referencing the switch itself in some obscure way...

I feel this title is particularly clever as it refers to her love of open setups (this is slightly a stretch but it works) as well as the fact that she is not really asian (indirectly by saying what she is) due to the dual meaning of words in Chinese depending on context.
If I could understand Chinese I would probably second this, as it sounds clever XD
It also shows up as ?? on this computer, and for anyone without the Chinese fontset (or as little boxes, worse).

I've got no problem with long topics. So long as it's not causing timeout errors/CPU quota problems, I don't see any reason to change threads, since it messes up old references in existing threads...

The Newbie Queue is 121 pages long at this point, but since I started moving completed games out of it, it never times out, so...*shrug*

"Self-targeting" is good (maybe without the vig part), because it implies both a self-directed attitude toward the vig thing, and a tendency to go off half-cocked and piss people off, I'm thinking. :P

And you're completely ignoring that titles have to be viewed in any part of the site. Thread titles can be easily changed if requested, signatures and I think avatars can be turned off by individual users, but titles are ubiquitous. Again, it goes to what we want to present the site as, and you haven't shown that unavoidable swearing is in the best interests of the site/reflects the membership as a whole (I recommend a phone poll, personally).

Numerous people have complained about your signature. I swear, but I don't want it everywhere associated with me, in every post in every thread, your made-up statistics notwithstanding.

I'm not sure we're
going
to see eye to eye on this, so I'd rather let mith decide.

Mastermind of Sin wrote:Yes, but the word Bitches in and of itself would have no connotation to those people outside of the loop. It's not like the title is "I hate bitches" or "You're all bitches" or "I rape bitches" or anything else with a negative way to read it. "likes cock" definitely can be read as having a negative connotation to it. "Bitches" as a word doesn't have an out-of-context problem like that.
On the contrary, "Bitches" has all sorts of connotations for most people; I'm not sure how you can argue otherwise, unless you're AniX. And nice hetero-centric bias on 'negativeness' of "likes cock", MoS.

Just "Krap Logik" sounds sufficient for Korlash, if he wants it.

Yos2's is getting awfully abstract, I don't like the recent iterations.

How about just "9" (no quotes) for ShadowLurker? Subtle, but funny.

Oman shouldn't be forced to have a title he doesn't want. Knock it off, kids.

JDodge's avatar is currently the Cube, if I understand meta-game references correctly, but he changes it quite often. xyzzy gaining a title for yet another game with a catchy character/phrase makes me amused all out of proportion.
