I like how everyone was like "oh it's not about deserving a title, it's about notoriety" when we were discussing crypto, but my suggestion for Umbrage has been completely ignored. Obviously, how much you deserve it (or at least how much the populace thinks one deserves it) does make a difference.

Sure, maybe if I went back and looked at the evidence for these titles being given, then of course I could understand. But you can make the same argument for "Except when he does." However, that is fresh and pertinent to a large part of the community: everyone who attended the reckoning and people who followed it and people who encounter pie in discussion.

"Except when he does" happened a year ago. I mean I haven't read the Reckoning II thread, so I don't know if it's being brought up again because of it, but I'm pretty sure if there was a crossword clue saying "(16 letter) Title proposed for InflatablePie" I would've got it, and vice versa.

I don't think that's a moment we want to remember. Plus, it happened in the Speakeasy, which is not viewable to the entire site's population, and thus probably not applicable under TheButtonmen's rule.

I've been trying to think of something clever for CooLDoG but nothing comes to mind.

Just kidding. But to be serious, I'm not crazy about "Survey Says." I feel that, from the point of a new user who does not know me, seeing that title would imply that I often poll the populace or am really inquisitive or something. I'm actually kind of hesitant about the list-related titles in general, I feel like it's sort of a recent phenomenon (then I thought of the Organized List of Mish Mash Phenomena, so...), although I have enjoyed datakeeping sorts of things IRL for a while.

Some of the ones I particularly like are Honorable Mention, Starstruck, Look out for #1, and #3: A Year's Supply of Rice-a-Roni is kind of cute
but I suppose that whatever y'all think is the most appropriate title should be the one I get. Thanks for the consideration! I hope this sort of post is kosher for those potentially receiving titles.

This is actually what I think of when I think of callforjudgment. I was in the game, but it makes a lot of sense.

For those who want further explanation: Because a 50 player game is so hectic, or maybe just because he was so nice, oh no wait he made a deal with mykonian, callforjudgment posted vote counts despite being a player in that big game. Then he turned out to be scum, which is multifaceted considering how useful he was to the game.

I always think of him because for the first so many pages of that game I thought his name was califorjudgment, like a mix of california and judgment in reference to that famous series of mafia games mith/MrGrey hosted (maybe I'm making things up? IDK)
