Well, aside from the people who voted me a little "too" quickly, I am still the prime suspect because of a mistake. The only way I can really make it clear that it was an error is to apologize and try and show you that I'm on the level. I thought either A- I press the apology and come across as to defensive, B- I start questioning boo or one of my other voters and get accused of diverting attention, or C - I try and lay low letting things calm down, but then I would get accused of lurking. Overall I thought it would be best to make it clear that it was an error.

No it is not a forced action.
I had strongly considered not using it because I thought it could be a kill power, but I also thought that it could be a doc/backup doc power that would rely on the player being brave enough to use it. In the end I thought it would be best for me to test it, at leasst once to find out. Then if it was a kill power, it would be best to test it out now before it could really influence things.

One thing that bothers me though is that, if I was to use my night action tonight too, there is nothing in my role description to imply one way or the other whether the abillity would stay the same or not.

My very first thought was that I would use the abillity of the person that I targeted, on the person I targeted. That was proven wrong though when Mert was revealed town. So I obviously didnt get the kill power from him.

Why Mert = Shortly before this game, we were both in the game Doomsville, we were a little snippy in it, but it was the most immediate link I had with a player. I thought if worse came to worse and anyone was going to die from what I did, then it would be a reason that would make the most sense for my choice since I would likely end up having to explain it.

Also, I know you have no reason to believe me here but I thought I should mention it to show how devided I was over using my night action. If you remember the crash (that wiped stuff out) came during our night phase. It was after I sent my night action. I thought that since the crash deleted posts it may have deleted pms to. I was considering sending a pm to withdraw my night action, but instead confirmed it because I thought it would be unfair to go back on it since I already sent it. That and the "test" reasons mentioned in my last post.

I am willing to target myself tonight, but could I get a verification that people think its a good idea. If I do end up killing myself then it seems a little like a waste from my position. Yes I would be cleared as town, but I will be dead and we'd be down a protown player. Then again it might be the only way I can prove to you guys that I am what I say I am. Actually that raises another question, if I do target myself and I dont die, and it turns out I get sothing else as a result, ie protection/a cop investigation/whatever it might be, what will happen then?

P.S Just in case, if you do end up asking me to target myself, please also give a backup target, either a name, or a choice of "no one", since I still dont know for sure wether in fact I actually can target myself. I dont want to live through the night and have to explain that one.

What if the person I thought was scummiest was the same person you thought was the most protown? How would you react then if he/she died? Not to say that I was highly suspicious of Mert, but I was also not of the impression that he was any more town than anyone else. I was near 50/50 on most people and thought instead of comming back here and possibly defending myself with a "yeah, well, he looked scummy to me" type response, I thought it would be best to go a way that I could actually show as having some sort of reasoning for my actions.

Hey guys, finished exams now, but christmas stuff has taken up time too.

I've read what I missed and am ready to post some more.

As far as Zind goes I am okay following Maz since he seems to be someone with somesort of knowledge on whats going on. He was the one to link me to Merts death, eventhough he was wrong on the scum part, he was right in the sense that I did it.

I would however like him to tell us maybe on a scale of 1-10 just how sure he really is about it. 10 being counterclaim like sure, 5 being he seems as scummy as I was to him, and 1 being he just thinks the role claim is stupid and really isnt sure at all.

ALSO I will leave my powers in the publics hands for tonight. I will say though that I would think it would be a waste to self target. If by night there hasnt been a decision reached on what I should do, I will refrain from using my powers on anyone.

Zindaras if your just a role cop, what use can you have in this game? What need would there be for people to make up falseclaims? We have seen that "numbers" can be mafia (BOO) and non numbers can be town (Me if I die). So what would stop someone from just telling the truth anyways?

Well, from where I stand Maz is looking pretty good. I think the next step is to have briz and neon claim their roles. We then lynch one. If we lynch right, I use my night power on primate. If we lynch wrong I use it on the other one. That would leave us in the next day with either

a) 3 townies (Night, Maz, and other)
b) 1 town, 1 cult (maz and primate)(we lynch wrong and the mafia and I cross night kill)

Any other ideas?/thoughts?

Mod: Without answering whether or not there is more than one possible night kill role, could you answer how a cross targeting would playout in this game. Hypothetically?

Also what would happen if we were left with 1 town and 1 cult?

P.S. Im getting the strong impression Briz is a possible cult leader with his math professor claim. If thats true, then neon must be our other scum, unless Primate can kill too....then were pretty much screwed...

Okay, Im just going to think out loud here....

What if we all try and lynch brizzy.

Situation 1 > he is who he says he is and lives.
We go into night with
Maz (town?) Night (town) Briz (town) Primate (cult/scum?) Neon (town/scum?)
I would then target Primate.
Whoever the scum is would believably target me.
If my power does kill again,
We would then go to day with 3 players (Maz town?, Briz town, Neon ?)
If that were to happen, and we were still left with scum, neon would be lynched.

Situation 2 > Briz is lynched and he dies. We go into night with
Maz (town?) Night (town) Primate (cult/scum?) Neon (town/scum?)
I target Primate, Scum targets me.
Maz and Neon go to day.
We most likely win with 2 town.... downside being that we could have started with 3 scum... and neon would then be scum....

That being said though, with a cult also in this game, I dont know how likely it would be for us to also have 3 mafia members...
