Hmm, last game when I was scum I did the exact same thing, imply that the other person is being unrerasonable in their accusations of scumminess and no matter what you do they'll take it as a scum tell.

This game started at day. If we do no lynch, its not as bad as a game that started at night - and cops/vigs/docs/whatevers can draw upon the info that is available from the first 17+ pages of the game. Whether we lynch or not is going to be based on the continuation of one of the existing bandwagons or simply a falling away. This early in the game, the mafia are probably quite capable of deflecting the lynch to a bad one. Whichever. Its Oct 3 where I am, and nearing that deadline fast.

If CES is the SK and we kill him it would leave 6 people with probably 3 scum. Town loses, SK loses.

If we kill Glork and th SK kills a good guy, it'll be 2 town, 2 mafia, and the SK.

If we kill Glork and the SK kills a bad guy, it'll be 3 town, 1 mafia, and the SK. (best scenario for town, but not one the SK wants, so this is presumeably not going to happen)

Lynching the SK today = loss for town and SK.

Lynching Glork = likely 2 town, 2 mafia, 1 SK

Lynching someone else = most likely, 2 town, 2 mafia (one being known), 1 SK. In such a case we'd go to night with it being 2 town, 1 mafia, and 1 SK.

Basically it boils down to this as near as I can tell

If we lynch the SK, mafia wins. (With this in mind, the SK should claim if they're going to be lynched)

A mislynch today should be accounted for by the SK balancing (killing a mafia member to stop them from winning).

It's better to have a known scum alive tomorrow so as to prevent a town mislynch tomorrow (something both the townand the SK want to avoid)

Essentially, as far as I can tell, we cannot avoid the situation of going to night with 2 town, 1 mafia, and 1 SK as the best solution (the alternative being an almost guranteed mafia win)

Might as well touch on this too, I don't know what's happened in this game, I don't remember anything except that there was a lot of useless spamming in the beginning and hat I though you were pro-town. I seriously doubt I've actually contributed anything to this game up till my last post (which I'm proud of).

My listing of the peoples in the game should make where I stand clear (even if it's having no position).

Look, whether it's an SK or a forced vig doesn't really matter right now, as long as there's a non-mafia killing role the best strategy is no to lynch Glork today. This is

imperative if there is a cult in this game as well.

Glork is insurance on our speculation today, we can hunt for cult or for another member of the mafia and

be in a Lynch-or-Lose situation. The only things that would make this plan untenable would be 1) Glork being unnkillable 2) the non-mafia killing role being roleblocked. I don't think either of those possibilities are remotely likely.

Note:

If there is a cult, I would say Mgm/CES are the more likely the cultist at this point (as opposed to Zindie). He has tried to rush the lynch on Glork, downplayed the possibility of a Vig, tried to quash the discussion on Cults, and made two separate (and untrue) arguments as to why there it is not likely for there to be a cult ("cults are not common" and "the norm is for cultists to die for failed recruitments"). Since first-time Mods almost never use a cult (simply because they cannot gauge how it will affect the game), I would say Courk is very much more likely than the average Mod to include a cult in any given game.

MBL and I originally were wondering if he was mafia scum for all his play this game, but I could see him as cult scum as well. He's probably just plain scum, although I'm not sure which kind.

Also, this game is a lot easier to follow when almost everyone is dead.

I want to lynch either kleb/spec or Mgm/CES. If whoever we kill turns up town then Glork needs to be killed at night. If they come up cult than I think a vig should take out ambic or the other cult member and an SK can do whatever.

Zindie, cults have 100% success rates when recruited townies. it's the way cults work. Having a 50% chance would be like mafia having a 50% chance for their kill to go through, not going to happen.

1. When the

claimed vig

asks youto claim and says he's planning on killing you, you claim. Especially if him vigging us will lose it for the town. The point of us not claiming was to not help tell the mafia who the vig/sk was. Since amb has claimed that's pointless now and there's much more benefit to be gained from claiming.

For the record, we're townie, plain vanilla.

2. Don't hammer someone when the claimed vig has said he's going to kill you and such an action can lose it for the town. And don't hammer when there's still plenty of discussion to be had. Although Zindie is a good lynch.

I would however agree with vigging CES instead of me/TSS if ambic is really a vig (I can still see ambic as the sk in which case trying to convince him is pointless)
