Welcome to DOOMsville!


Current Game Status: Day 1! 12 alive 7 to lynch!



All was peaceful in the town of DOOMsville...until now, where evil forces lurk and are ready to strike and DOOM DOOMsville. Can all the evil and danger be stopped before DOOMsville's DOOM?

MM’s Rules (stolen and edited from PJ)


Rules On what is Allowable:


[01] This is only a game, and I expect all street racers to remain somewhat civil. I will not tolerate excessive abuse upon freedom of speech: obscenity, profanity, libel, and fighting words will not be tolerated, and if you push it, the contest director reserves the right to have you replaced. In other words, be respectful to all players, as well as myself.
[02] Do not talk outside of this thread, unless your role PM explicitly says you may do so, and even then, you are restricted to night-time for all out-of-thread conversation.
[03] Do not edit or delete your posts in any way, shape, or form. Once you have posted something, it is there for good, unless I find reason to alter or delete your post myself.
[04] Do not quote your role PMs in any way, shape, or form. This is also true for night conversations. You may, however, paraphrase your PM at any time, but if you go too far, the contest director reserves the right to either replace you or to modkill you should the situation warrant.
[05] Do not post in invisible text, excessively small text, or use [ color = black ] tags.
[06] You may request mod-prods, replacements, clarifications, and vote counts from me directly in the thread, but please precede such with a bolded

so that I will be able to answer you as promptly as possible.
[07] Once I have officially posted that you are dead, then you are dead. Do not post any relevant information to the game whatsoever. You are, however, allowed a typical “Bah!” post of some sort.
[08] You may talk during twilight about anything you wish.
[09] Do not question my decisions in-thread: if you have a problem with me, take it to Private Messages. You may, of course, post problems you see with my votecounts, but that’s about as far as I’ll allow things.
[10] You are allowed to have fun, and in fact, I heartily encourage it! This is a game! Play hard, play fair, and enjoy yourself.

Technical Rules


[01] Each day the town must decide on a lynch. Once a majority has been reached on a player, that player will be lynched, regardless of any subsequent unvoting.
[02] To vote for somebody, please use bold tags. For example,
Vote: MM

[03] If you wish to unvote, I would appreciate a formal bold

, although this will not be required.
[04] If the game lags, I will place a deadline, which may or may not be retractable
[05] When a deadline has been placed, I will require only a majority of what would normally be a majority for a lynch (i.e. 12 players needs 7 to lynch, so I would require 4 to lynch in such a scenario). If this number is not reached, day will end in no-lynch, and the game will progress directly into night.
[06] If two or more players are tied for the most votes when a deadline hits, and they have garnered the required amount of votes to be lynched under a deadline, the player who reached that number of votes first shall be lynched.
[07] You may vote no-lynch if you wish. A majority voting for no-lynch will end the day, and the game will progress directly into night. To do this, simply

[08] Nights will last a maximum of 5 real-time days. If you have not sent me a night-choice by that time (should you have one), for the first night of the game, I will randomize your choice. For all nights afterwards, I will consider you as choosing that you do not wish to use your action.
[09] If you feel that you may not be able to post in-thread for a period of 48 hours or longer, please say so in-thread and send me a PM as warning. If I find it necessary, I will have you replaced, but I would much rather keep all players who sign up for any of my games.
[10] Any and all of these rules are subject to change at my discretion.

Day 1: Sailor Jerry investigates Romanus

1. SK(Mert): Investigation and nightkill immune
PM: You are the Serial Killer. Every night you may choose somebody to kill. Also since you are by yourself, you are equipped with investigation and nightkill immunity, which means cops will get innocent on you and other killers cannot kill you. You will when you are the last man standing.

2. Mafia Roleblocker(slaking_master): Can block night actions only.
PM: You are the Mafia Roleblocker. Your mafia partners are bird1111, the Mafia Bulletproof Goon, and Jack, the Mafia Godfather. Every night you may talk with your partners and decide on who your Godfather should kill. Also every night you have the ability to block someone else's night actions. You will win when all non-mafia are eliminated.

3. Mafia Bulletproof Goon(bird1111): Kill immune
PM: You are the Mafia Bulletproof Goon. Your mafia partners are slaking_master, the Mafia Roleblocker, and Jack, the Mafia Godfather. You will win when all non-mafia are eliminated.

Every night you may talk with your partners and decide on who you will kill. Also you are investigation immune, which means cops will get innocent investigations on you. You will win when all non-mafia forces are eliminated.

7. Sane Day Cop(Sailor Jerry): Gets correct innocent or guilty investigations. For Judas & Saulus, gets their current alignment. Cannot be roleblocked.
PM: You are the Day Cop. Any time during each day before a lynch is reached, you may choose to investigate one person and find out whether there are innocent or guilty. You will win when all non-town forces are eliminated.

8. Jack-of-all-trades Backup(Boo): Replaces whichever one of the doc/tracker/day cop dies first. Will receive all night choices of the dead person. If 2 of the trio die in same night, can pick which role to replace.
PM: You are the Super Backup. There are many possible roles that you can replace, and as soon as one of those replaceable roles dies, you will get that role and receive all that dead person's night choices. You will win when all non-town forces are eliminated.

9. Governor(Romanus): At end of every day chooses whether or not to stop a lynch. May not save self and may not save same person twice.
PM: You are the Governor. Every day when a lynch is about to be reached or after a lynch is reached, you choose whether or not to save the lynched person by sending the mod a PM. If you do not respond quickly after a lynch is reached, the mod will assume that you choose not to save that person. Regardless of whether you save someone, the day will still end and night will begin. You may not save youself from a lynch and you may not save the same person twice. You will win when all non-town forces are eliminated.

10. Kamikaze(Nightfall): Protown, if lynched, person who hammered dies along with kamikaze.
PM: You are the Kamikaze. You have no special abilities except the fact that if you are lynched, the person who hammered you will also be killed. You will win when all non-town forces are eliminated.

11. Judas(Eon): Wins with town if not lynched. If lynched, revived immediately and now wins with the Mafia. Will not know who the Mafia are. Loses lynch immunity after switching sides.
PM: You are Judas. You will win with the town if you are not lynched. However, if you are lynched, you will be revived immediately and you will now win with the mafia. If that happens, you still will not know who the mafia are. You lose your reviving abilities after you switch sides.

12. Saulus(Wacky): Wins with Mafia if not lynched. If lynched, revived immediately and now wins with the town. Will not know who the Mafia are. Loses lynch immunity after switching sides.
PM: You are Saulus. You do not know who the mafia are, but you will win with the mafia if you are not lynched. However, if you are lynched, you will be revived immediately and you will now win with the town. You lose your reviving abilities after you switch sides.
