As the still of night descends up on Halliwell Manor, an attractive older woman tiptoes up the stairs to the attic. With hardly a gesture of her hand, the door before her opens admitting her.

Silvery beams of moonlight filter in through the round stained-glass window above and she smiles. She moves across the room to the Book of Shadows and gives another slight wave of her hand and gazes down at the open book. She ponders for a moment and begins flipping through its pages, her fingers never actually touching the book. Finally, she comes upon what she’s been searching for and adjusts her glasses, scrutinizing the page. With a look of comprehension, she makes a dramatic wave of her hand and the book slams shut. She removes her glasses, letting them hang on the small chain around her neck and whispers, "I know just what to do."

"Oh do you?" A voice in the darkness says lowly.

She spins around to face the direction of the voice and states boldly, but quietly, "Show yourself."

The sound of a chuckle is followed by a movement in the shadows and a figure steps out before her, smiling "Oh… you." She states. Nodding, they begin moving towards her, the smile on their face becoming more of a look of menace with each step. Quickly, she begins chanting a spell, charging the air with magic.

"You think that will help you old witch?" Another chuckle. "Or should I say, dead witch?"

With a lunge, the threatening figure overcomes her, and she is rendered helpless. She struggles, attempting to free one of her hands but fails miserably. A dark whisper in her ear tells her, "Return to where you belong, dead witch, you can’t help them now. It’s too late." As the last word is spoken, a sharp burning pain courses through her body and she crumples to the floor.

As the sun rises to shine in through the eastern windows of the Manor, everyone begins to make their way to the conservatory. Tension fills the atmosphere and all look upon each other with apprehension. It doesn’t take long to notice that the one called AniX isn’t present. During a search of the manor, all that can be found are a pair of glasses connected to a thin chain.
