Does Dripping Goofball want us to leave her alive, so she begs for death to make us do just that? Is that WIFOM? How fitting for a game like this. Or is it?

I actually agree with CES, after taking the time to translate, I just had to give it a little thought. I think that we will have to dispose of DGB eventually. I personally think that she is just using the crazy potentials of this game to make such a claim, in order to keep herself alive. However, if she is telling the truth it would be far better not to waste a lynch on her.

On that note. I must play devil's advocate on myself..... There are a few things to consider:
1)We don't know if we have any vigs.
2)If we do then the Vigs might have restrictions, such as you cannot vig someone who recieved votes or something like that.
3) THIS IS THE WORST. These Vigs might have hidden restrictions, like if you choose to kill someone you kill a random target instead, or the person you choose to vig instead survives and can kill someone of their choice.

All in all our night roles could be the craziest things in the world. I don't know if we should ever assume them normal or, rely on them.

I just talked myself out of it, I am keeping my vote.

I am quite paranoid now........ *remains in hole*

Hmm now this is interesting. I was unsure what to think about Shamrock but now I am a little suspicious. Let me give you a scenario.

MasterChief gains a new role and is placed into the mafia with Shamrock. Shamrock is at 10 votes. In a risky attempt to save Shamrock he tries to put the votes on himself. Now why would he try to get people to vote for him as opposed to someone else is beyond me. Maybe Masterchief is a type of kamikaize or maybe he is merely sacraficing himself for Shamrock.

Or, Perhaps he is trying to prolong Shamrocks life long enough for someone ele to get a wagon. This might be safe considering DG, after begging for a lynch, now only has two votes on her including her own.

As for me, well I am still suspicious of DG and do not trust Vigilantes in this game so I still think she should be lynched. Today would be preferable because if Vigilantes target her tonight anything ould happen. However I am also suspicious of MasterChief and would like to lynch him too.

However given the facts that DG and MC could be kamikazis I think that my third suspicion now, Shamrock, might be the good vote.

I
unvote DG
But before I vote agin I'd like to hear what others think of my paranoia... I mean ideas.

Why would someone give themselves up? We already have a sane cop claim about Shamrock being scum (even though now he's probably insane after revealing), and why would someone pit themselves against a claim? And if masterchief did manage to get a bandwagon on him then Shamrock would just go the next day with the cop claim.

Since when was DB a vig? She said she'd already lost and an interesting twist might occur if she's mafia killed/lynched, or a scumtell would come up if neither of these occured to her.
Okay a couple things. We have no idea about any sanity of any cops. He could be a random cop for all we know, and people know this is possible. Masterchief might take the heat off of Shamrock now in the hopes that a new person will arise to take our suspicions. IF Shamrock survives today then he could use his night power tonight and help the scum.

It is also possible that Masterchief wants to be lynched to better himself somehow. Then things would be really bad.

Also, I never said DGB was a vig. I said I don't trust ANY vig. I have already talked about my beliefes regarding vigilantes in this game and why we shouldn't plan to Vig DGB but instead lynch her.

Finally you are quite trusting, just because DGB has revelaed her role doesn't make it true.

Let me say something about DGB. I see three possibilities.

1) She is telling the truth. I doubt it.

2) She is lying to protect herself from scum. By saying, "if a scum kills me they will regret it" she is trying to discourage a nightkill against her..

3) She is lying to protect herself from lynches. By saying, "Don't lynch me, my role won't help you unless you let the scum kill me," she is trying to discourage the a day kill against her.

Obviously 2 and 3 provide a wonderful WIFOM situation that can, and SEEMS TO BE, keeping her alive.

All in all, my vote won't be changing unless someone can convince me that she is telling the truth or a better target arises.

If you cared so much about your scum tell ability why were you encouraging a lynch from the beginning? Now you come out throwing insults? Can we put her away now? She just really annoyed me.

So obviously you guys think that true roles are not always revealed. Otherwise DGB's "true role" would be written instead of SK.

With this in mind realize that all the details of the roles might not be mentioned. Isn't it possible that the SK could have had killing restrictions? Maybe something had to happen in the day for the SK to earn his/her kill. We don't know.

It is also possible that DGB just decided not to kill her first night to try to play the role she was claiming.

I still think she took a risk at the beginning, we didn't buy it, and she payed for it.

Also, I agree about the coron. While I find it hard to trust anything the MOD says in this game I think we should put some pressure on our best lead. I will
FOS Coron
. That would be a vote but I don't want to encourage a quick lynch.

I don't really like his agressive, "You are all idiots if you vote for me!" approach. Sometimes the best defense is a good offesnse? I don't think that applies in this case.

I'm reluctant to vote Masterchief seeing as we just lynched an innocent Coron over what the mod told us in the night scene.
Are you saying you're a vig? Or have you already said that? Last night was far too long.

I agree with you about Coron. That was a bad move. Obviously these voices are one of two things:

1) The Mod lying to us
2) Controlled by a player

Based on reading MasterChief's Postings I am going to
vote masterchief
.

In my opinion his posts have not really contributed that much and I rank him one step above a lurker. I don't think he's put forth anything relevant to aid the town. If anyone wants to come forward and defend him I'll listen and perhaps even remove my vote. Or you can all just lynch me. That is what usually happens when I make a post like this.

Or maybe it's because MC was under pressure and your early posts should be about defending yourself? I am aware you just received your role, but if you don't start being relevant soon I will have to follow Der Hammer's lead.

There is a problem here. Mods use paranoid cops in normal games. Granted it is a bastard tactic, but this is BASTARD mod mafia. I think we can expect our good friend to go over the top. If it were me I'd make it so that if a paranoid cop investigates himself/herself then s/he will find himself/herself innocent. Now the trick becomes to find a better person for Romanus to investigate. If no such person arises, have him investigate himself. Just be prepared not to trust the result in the morning.
