I think if he can release scum then he might aswell stay, after all he can still vote, but he did say

"I doubt I'll be checking this game regularly"

Which means he might not be that great to play with, and he might not even have a scum tell.

Confusing. I don't know if to vote him or not.

The link is just "The first drink of the day" By Joel and the band at Rathergood to tie in with "The first vote of the day". Maybe he just likes rathergood.com

I'd claim if i had such a poor role. She can't tell us everything because then she might not get a scum tell (if she has one), but if she's not playing and is already dead then it's pointless voting her off because it won't do anything except give the mafia a free night kill. Or we could just oust the dead weight and vote her off and progress the game (without getting a scumtell, if there is one). I don't think she's scum.

Fortify wrote:MasterChief gains a new role and is placed into the mafia with Shamrock. Shamrock is at 10 votes. In a risky attempt to save Shamrock he tries to put the votes on himself. Now why would he try to get people to vote for him as opposed to someone else is beyond me. Maybe Masterchief is a type of kamikaize or maybe he is merely sacraficing himself for Shamrock.
Why would someone give themselves up? We already have a sane cop claim about Shamrock being scum (even though now he's probably insane after revealing), and why would someone pit themselves against a claim? And if masterchief did manage to get a bandwagon on him then Shamrock would just go the next day with the cop claim.

Since when was DB a vig? She said she'd already lost and an interesting twist might occur if she's mafia killed/lynched, or a scumtell would come up if neither of these occured to her.

Finally you are quite trusting, just because DGB has revelaed her role doesn't make it true
I suppose the claim could be a lie, and i must have read your post to fast, my bad. I'd prefer to believe it as i havn't heard someone lie about being a cop yet. Claiming that you're a cop in day 1 just targets yourself for a night kill.

Why are you openly discussing details like this? You've got no chance of being mafia killed if one of them get's revealed, that's like suicide.

Although this could all be some strange reverse psychology from DGB to get herself lynched which could reveal something special...
PBuG wrote:I am not a cop, I was never a cop
Then what was with all the cop claiming? He got a Vanilla lynched. Shouldn't this take over the convo instead of DGB's strange half claim?

It wasn't, it was so I could win. Think: why did I claim to get scum on a certain person, and get that person lynched, to take it all back and say that my win condition, which I accomplished, changed? Hint about previous post: If this post was coded in the same way, it would be ITHIT. There are five letters and five sentences.
LYNCHER <- Ah clever, although like the death miller, if this is a role (not just what you're doing so far), i don't know what a lyncher is properly. Is this like some Judas role with a bit of SK mixed in?

This is bastard mod mafia though. The mod could have changed him to a town because he's a bastard, and PBuG could be telling the truth. I don't know who to believe yet so i'm not going to vote.

I still want to lynch DGB to find out what happens when she dies (if anything), but it seems rather pointless.

I'm the opposite to Fortify: I trust DGB's claim more than PBuG's. DGB's seems so bastardly that i think it's true, but PBuG's is extrememly loose, lynch a town to win with the town, and all the cop/lyncher fake claims with no meaty info into what he was, and now he's just a town...mmmm.

Der Hammer and Glork: You can't vote primate, he's protected from lynch!
Coron wrote: I am a cop, 2 innocents on players that are alive, if you want me to claim which it will be the next time I am online. I also think the the "May" in the mods post refers to the fact that if he picks a random player out of the player list it has a chance it will be the person who killed him.
So you're a cop; he was the cop comissioner; you two happened to be in the police station; Arimnaes got killed but saw you at the time he was being killed by someone else and shouted out your name?

Sounds a bit fishy to me...

My scumsense is tingling. 'cause of #603 mostly, but other things too. Would you humour me if I asked you what site you originally learnt to play mafia on?
This one :P Actually this is my third game on here. Survivor is about to come to an end :(

If i was so onto coron wouldn't i have voted for him? I just wasn't sure with all this lying, bastardization, etc. I don't know what's true or false, i don't think anyone does... He claimed cop anyway!

What other things make you tingle about me? :D

There's no point lynching coron, he'll get mafia killed tonight as he's a cop (or so he says). The vigs can target other people, it makes more sense. Why would mafia keep a cop alive?

I've only been following the game Since the Coron mess. It was rather confusing, so yes i had to clarify if i was following the play correctly. Before this my play was contributing, voting, etc etc.

I should have voted for coron, should have FOS'd him, but i didn't. I don't normally FOS because i think that people can pick up suspicion from post content.
Now there's 8 votes on him and if i vote him i am the hammah. BUT it makes more sense to vig him and persue someone else, BUT this could take weeks until someone else is lynched because there isn't much evidence to go on right now with everyone thinking about coron.
Fortify wrote:I will continue to say what I have always said. We should not trust vigs this game. We do not know how they work.
This is also very true, CD might not even be able to vig Coron, there might be some bastardly trait. We can't rely on CD to vig Coron, and i still think that the mafia would night kill Coron as he claimed cop.

CES voted Der Hammer for (I think) the same reason that Primate is suspecting me, for contributing nothing and merely following the game. He has made 5 posts since he replaced Ziliu and it has been a month of him playing.

So
FOS Coron, FOS Der Hammer

And now i have to think about Coron and if i want to be the hammah.

I tried to start a viper lurker wagon a while back, but it didn't work, and i'm sure that he'll come back and say "sorry" or the sensible thing will happen where he's replaced.

I'm not the hammah anymore, but i would like to see this game progress and not take another couple of weeks to come to another conclusion. I'd much prefer to conclude the Coron mystery. Part of me does think that this could be the truth, and i'm tempted to believe the Cop Comissioner role of random name picking (it does seem bastardly), but for now:

I've been mulling it over and i think that this cop comissioner role is true.

I think there should be a mass replacement of the people who don't post.

A bandwagon on a lurker is going to work at present, there arn't enough active players to contribute.
