The above is real simple. That top group? Town. Town in the sense of "kill everyone else and this group is alive the game ends" town. FURTHER, and I want to be real clear about this:

For this setup, there will be some mini-games in thread (toys and games and fun!). It will be Toy Story trivia. The first four people to respond to the questions will be in the running for an undisclosed power. Whoever gets the most questions correct will get the power. In the case of a tie, the first person to respond to me will get the power.

THAT group, period, better be getting these. We'll run a test on the first one and I'm hoping that its silly enough to give us who wins it because if that's the case and one of those names doesn't pop up with the bright YOU ARE A WINNER you might as well just vote yourself and walk away.

As for kendall. Town. Town town town. However, I swear if I had a day bullet I'd be sorely tempted to put it there just to make this particular brand of keyboard drool stop from all sides. Alas, I'm not blessed enough to do this so it goes the other way. Continued arguing with kendall is going to be met with violence. Sweet, delicious violence. That train stops now. The flipside is i'm just casually glancing at kendall's posts and if I see any form of the same business spewed out I'm just scrolling down. Done.

Call it gut or not enough substance, but that last group has my dander up but not enough I'm going to fight directly for their death.

Umbrage IS more dangerous.
He's louder and more persistent in his opinions, which don't have much weight to them. His "argument" with Rainbow was just ridiculous. Instead of debating things through he pouts and whines when questioned farther. Umbrage should be lynched.

Both are about as "dangerous" as a kitten who sat out in the sun for a day and then ate a whole gallon of ice cream.

Now I want to be clear about this. Because its actually important enough that I'll explain far more than I normally would to make sure it happens AND to make sure what needs to happen today now happens so theres not any oopsies later.

Unless you think I'm scum (haha) there's a reason that group was picked. Assuming that I'm at least decent at reading town (I am) the majority

if not all

of who I picked to make things dead fast is going to be town. So, that creates ideally a unified structure that keeps infighting down AND limits the lynch pool AND forces the hand of night actions more and more as the game progresses.

Further, these boxes are a variable that can, will and should be controlled. Notice I'm not saying I NEED THE BOXES ASAP because I dont care about that. What I do care about is putting those boxes in hands where if something stupid happens that would point at scum there's a lot of justification required to keep from getting lynched for it - i.e. if Rainbow was scum and got a vig box and REALLY wanted to shoot FA well that shot is a 1-1 so its probably not taken.

Its a matter of control and it being screwed with needs to be stopped ASAP.

Am I convinced PV is scum? No, not by a long shot. DJ, Umbrage, Roy and I could probably even think of a few more that could happen that I'd like a bit more. He's not a BAD lynch in the sense that I really do call teaparty on showing up out of the blue to scoop up sweet sweet prizes but regardless:

He dies to prove a point. Not just to the scum that they better have a bro in that group but even MORE importantly to any chuckleheads outside the group that are going to go "I'm a rebel and I do what I want *flips up collar on leather jacket*".

Control is key. A mislynch is worth making sure that happens if it is even a mislynch.

And, frankly, he could claim having 8 mod confirmed daycops tomorrow and it wouldn't make me twitch.

So, see, this is me being nice and explaining all nice nice.

Problem here is core group getting torn three ways. I mean, Peregrine sorta just screwed this up, but im more or less torn on him. Almost think controlling his "prize" is right, especially if its a kill. Also wondering if im getting a little too zoned in on Umbrage, but its side things that really make me want him dead. One aspect of the setup sharply changes my reads on a few people (if one faction Umbrage is town, two factions a couple others are town).

Spy - If not Peregrine who is the lynch?

See I dig what you're saying about the last bit especially. Realistically since its obvious doing this the right way isn't going to happen I'd be down with pretty much anyone. Peregrine SHOULD die to prove a point but wont, DJ I still think has a pretty damn good shot at scum and is literally getting away with it by not playing the game, Umbrage death for setup via scum + play and, frankly, sanity. Even Ray I can see although I think Hiraki is trying a bit too hard.

Problem is, no one wants to give. This game is already well out of control and moving farther and farther to whitenoise land which means I'm gonna end up checking out until something happens.

The biggest "tell" Umbrage has for actually being scum is the business with the two factions. The other business, lets call it jackassery, if it was a scum tell the mod would have ended the game because scum obviously has a majority.

If DJ flips factioned scum Umbrage dies. If DJ flips unified scum Umbrage goes way down the list.

Now, if DJ flips one of those fabulous scum PR's that you would go out on idiot limb to protect membership in awesome club is rescinded and you (glowball) are going up the dead tree fast like lightning.

so Umbrage or DonJosh are the two leading wagons. My opinion? Both are great choices, so I want someone to tell me why one should be lynched over the other... I could honestly go either way, although I think Umbrage might be a little more dangerous as scum.

Soda makes no sense for scum (while Bogre doesn't make a lot either) I'm going to hope its 1-scum group and that was a vig. I'm missing the bite for Bogre dead versus far more obvious targets aside from his chatter about Bobsnox and Beefster - both good calls in and of themselves.

The important thing to remember and this is going to be useful - scum either went pants on head or there is not fakeclaims (or see paranoia below). That is a HUGE bonus and actually pushes up when we should be thinking about massclaim some to pick off potential 1/1's.

However, and I'll be that guy. This series of events and the oozing smarm makes me like glowball far LESS now. Its puppeteer. While not dead now remember that when we're farther along and OMG D1 lynch guyz is still alive. I'll admit its more paranoia than not but the idea of Bo Peep the fakeclaim / buddy CC is a high-risk / high reward manuever. We'll see how it goes.

Rainbow I'm gonna need the DJ townslip because I'm sure as hell missing it.

There was no stalemate. This idea of "powerhouse Umbrage" being any kind of an issue was an absolute misnomer and one you pulled over and over again. If the Vig had LISTENED and DJ had flipped an actually active and useful scum PR you'd be vapor already.

I've been proven wrong exactly 0 times. Not that the individual rights and wrongs matter. You can puff up when DJ, Silver and Beef are dead and they're not scum (its not happening with at least 1, probably 2 of them.)

The point in what I am trying to get you to understand is that you aren't the only player. Hell Rainbow,Flavour, Diddin, any other active players aren't the only players. When we are gone- when there are only a few left you need to leave behind information that will HELP the remaining town, not push an arrogant agenda and pick fights. I am trying to make this easier for us all. You shutting me down like I have nothing to contribute, doesn't help town in fact it helps scum a lot more to know that they can pit us against each other- and they will.

Actuaalllly active players are the only other players I care about. The rest? Dead. Its just a matter of when. And its not like being active = being town. Rainbow? Flavour? Diddin? Beck? Hiraki? I still stand behind them as town.

I am pushing an "arrogant agenda" because this game NEEDS an "arrogant agenda". It needs fire and blood. It needs everyone to know that lurking and hand wringing will be met with death. It NEEDS it clear that another PV-situation will be met with extreme prejudice.

It needs direction.

So from my standpoint during the time ... it worked out. Had glowball not mentioned lying about the claim today, then I'd probably be supporting Glowball at this time.

I'm not screaming for Alien blood under the THERE MUST BE SCUM there clause but the chances are high. Especially for ~mysterious reasons~ that depending on how the rest of today goes I may elucidate on more.

I'm paranoid all over about FA with a jailer flipped and a vig claimed. I've liked the slot but I'm starting to have balance twitches.

However, both FA and Rainbow read aside make this whole business feel really town except for the scenario PJ brought up: that NtW AND Rainbow are scum together. That will come out in the wash though.

bobs I AM BUZZ LIGHTYEAR being the extent of everything makes that a for-death business barring a few pieces coming together just right.

This "use the cop on one of the aliens" is a very, very poor idea especially considering the gamestate as a whole.

However, lets assume the above is true. We're looking at a single scumgroup (my guess would be 5-6 scum (4-5 remaining)) or a retardedly juiced game. We've had both kills "accounted" for N1 and a single kill N2 with the vig presumably blocked.

So, if glowball was the scum shot - where the hell was the kill N1? I may need to go back and see if Bogre left a hint to where his jail went.

On a different note:

Blonde Doctor has used up all the goodwill I had for Beck. Especially because there is such a fat stack of lurking going on.

I'll have more for this when I have a bit more time but I think I want to know the third member of Alien club. I also want a mass purge of lurkers.

Frankly, because there is a signed death warrant now on your brethren. The chances of it being TWO scum in there are minimal with all the other hijinks going on. See, the thing isn't "lying about being a watcher when a watcher claimed" exactly. That is bad.

Its, when being called out on it snap-replying "WELL HE WASNT LENNY" like that had anything to do with anything and then the almost immediate realization that was a terrribleee idea and then makin up some justification.

I, more than anyone, had a town read on Hiraki and if he had went "Yea, I thought there was two watchers what of it?" I would have been yelling at this lynch.

Here's my best guesses on what's going on:

If kunk flips scum, RandomActs is town. Further, call it modfom, but that makes me think Rhinox is likelier to be town via flavor connections.

@FA: When you got your neighborhood with jmurph how was it seutp? I.E. did the MOD tell you that he was Bullseye or did he tell you that he was bullseye? I want this done BEFORE the lynch because of ~mysterious reasons~

This Woody-Jessie-Bullseye tryst is going to be the next major area of concern. JOAT with a cop + Cop with a cop + a method for, theoretically, them to push out the results is worrisome. The ONLY reason I'm not instantly calling blood there is the absence of protective roles we've seen.

As for the aliens - I'm really hesitant ONLY because of bobs flipping town. This means either 1.) Jak was on the space drugs, 2.) Scum have a roleblocker and a true redirector because they would have had to swap bobs AND a scum with each other 3.) Scott is a bad bad man who had him crash and burn behind a 'town survivor' or 4.) there is lying in that group. Be it NtW being a scum neighbor OR them opting to play a SK role this way.

The right answer for resolution of this assuming they don't do what johnny dont does is lynching scum today and tomorrow and seeing what parses out.

Depending on how a few things shake out that should be easy to figure out. Gut says Rhinox is town out of that group and I'd be really happy to see one of PJ/PV (hint: pv) get alien'd and then Juls lynched to kill the last. Of the two power roles gut says its the neighborizer via doble JOAT flavor shenanigans but.

Assuming split:
Jmurph + Aliens + maybe one more are scum. WOO

PV its still 2-1 (kunk + one of Juls/PV/Rhinox/PJ) / (Jmurph/Flavour Analysis) and while that'd be swimmingly nice if he was RB thats a good thing and I sure don't count on good things happening.

Its for the best it took so long because I'm really wroth that yesterday speedhammered versus the GAME under the "scum might take it guyz" gamble ESPECIALLY with how it turned out.

With how everything else has fell out, for FA OR Jmurph OR RA to be scum there's some serious shenanigans going on.

Serious shenanigans. With them collaborating how the mod opens the QT's that means we've got a scumgroup of actual villains + a hero that's a villain (and flavor being what it is, if any that would have been Buzz).

Which means I may have been wrong about my split. It may be as simple as "lynch all the vanillas, win".

Even though I've asked it I want all three of Woody, Jessie and Bullseye to say as close to verbatim again what happened with their QT's as possible.

Ok, with a review I'm tentatively down with one of jmurph/FA today.

The ONE thing I'd like to discuss is: lets assume two scum left for giggles (and it still should be but I digress). IF that is the case then the most obvious case is jmuprh/FA together. The problem with that, of course, is Jessie getting the mod "you're talking to bullseye" business - which is a flavor argument yea yea but it still bugs me.

Of the other two scum combinations jmurph/PJ makes more sense than FA/PJ. I have a hard time stomaching the super bus coming from pretty much the moment PJ came in.

As for PJ and I'll say it - raw logic still makes me think its you. However, without question, of the remainder you've played the best game and I'd probably be almost as torqued as you if we lose because you're the town lynch today. I'll say it now - regardless of alignment you've played an absolutely solid game. Part of it is if you'd been here from start (remember I, more than anyone, wanted your predecessor lynched) we'd probably not be having this conversation.

However if I'm wrong here - PJ, you ARE the lynch tomorrow (and, of course, the simple fact is one of diddin and I HAS to be killed tonight or its an auto win), So, lets assume this is the worst case scenario of one scum left in FA/Jmurph.

Considering the cases of two scum jmurph makes more sense for the lynch.
If there's one scum I'd lean towards it being FA.

And in the deepest, darkest part of my belly:

If town loses this to scum, I can't stomach losing it to FA.

So, I'd like actual opinions from all of you and then we'll pick a direction.

Trying to control the prizes was twofold (and my initial list of town had 1 scum in it which is, honestly, pretty good):

You're giving the rewards to players that are far more town than most - which should be putting powers in strong town hands. Additionally, you're forcing scum to either let it happen or risk swift death or just out themselves to stop the above.

Of course, the second PV didn't get stomped for it (and a miller doing that stunt I swear) it was off the rails.

Yep, the way those are worded that definitely does work. More of a comment on unified mechanics but no biggie.

Hiding first in NAR is more a function of hiding being protected from roleblocks, etc. Usually, when you hear of hider you can fairly safely assume that the hide IS going to go off and the only ways the hider is going to die is hiding behind scum or both dying.

Did the QT's get posted for those neighbors? That was the other thing I'd really like to see.
