The Good, The Bad, The Ugly (3/3) The Good and Ugly Win!

Post Post #0 (isolation #0) » Sat Sep 24, 2011 5:47 am

Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo

1.
lewarcher82 the Good Stays Alive

2.
kdowns the Bad Killed Second

3.
Moneybags the Ugly Killed First

One is the good, one is the bad, one is the ugly. Good and Ugly are town. Bad is mafia. Each player has a single shot he may use by typing:
Kill: <target>

Good and Ugly win if Bad dies at any point. Bad wins if Good and Ugly are dead at the end of the game.

There is no voting. There are no lynches.

Town loses at 22:00 EDT today if the game has not resolved.

MOOD MOVIE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awskKWzjlhk

Spoiler: Role PM
TownYou think you're the good, but realistically you know there's a chance you're just the Ugly. Either way, it's your goal to kill the Bad. You get a one shot day kill by typing in bold
Kill: <target>
. You win if the Bad is ever killed. You lose if the clock reaches 22:00 EDT

ScumYou are the Bad. Your goal is for both the Good and the Ugly to die. If it reaches 22:00 EDT and you're still alive, you win.

In post 2, implosion wrote:Isn't this broken by massclaim? The good and the ugly claim, the bad is forced to counterclaim one of them, and either the bad shoots their counterclaim (in which case the remaining person shoots them) or the counterclaim shoots the bad (in which case the bad loses).

Or do the two townies get the same role pm?

Same role PM. You'll find out after death whether you're good or ugly.

Role PMs are out. Game begins now. Have fun. Remember, general rules apply (no copying role pm even though it's posted in first post, no cryptography, no racist language, etc)

If it is unanimously agreed to, I can change the end time to 16:00 EDT or something like that. That's disadvantageous to town though. If you all agree to it, I'd be more than happy to do that.

I mean that "Shoot: <target>" is not the correct syntax. "Kill: <target>" is the correct syntax.

You see in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

Kdowns the Bad dies

I'm a little disappointed that scum just gave away the game. The one thing about this setup that is true is that mafia CANNOT shoot first. Ever. You'll never, ever win if you do that.

What do you guys think? I think it's a fun game with a 50/50 rate of winning for each side without taking into account scum hunting. Quick and fun. Deadline should be shorter though so that town has to work fast.
