First one: Stating the obvious, nothing better to do first post of the game.
Second one, would it not seem obvious that I was attempting to apply pressure in order to stop his random killing spree of death? I'm known on MTGS for going on a killing spree as a vig, I was hopping to prevent something like that from happening her.
Third one: He killed a mafia, obv, why try to pin suspicsion on those who, contrary to my earlier statement about him, are helping the town.

I tend to think that this might be a gambit of some sort. If he was a one shot, his best play would have been to claim that yesterday in order to possibly save his own neck last night. The fact that he didn't die, and is now stating that he was a one shot make me suspicious as well.

There really is no logic behind why he claimed one-shot today instead of yesterday. The more I think about it, the more it just seems like it was a play error. The choice he made was obv not the best choice as a scum, it brung suspicion on him, and not the best choice as town for the same reason.

I will admit to not having much experience when it comes to secret/extra votes. Is it the general consensus that someone with this ability is more likely to be town? I just don't like the way WoLG states they are town without wondering about the possibilities.

This is going off of every game that I've lurked that has had a multi-vote ability, as well as my experiance on MTGS. I would say to ask Armlx, but he's the mod. <_< (He basically made the same statement in WDM 2 on MTGS)

That sounds like the kind of ability that should wait until either we are close to lynch or lose, or in some predicament where having 0 night choices go through.

I really like that role though. If you had used it without claiming, we could of caught scum who later claimed having a target that night. Still something to think about. I'd rather wait and have you use it at the towns discrestion though.

I think Coron is failing to understand why his role is good for the mafia. Let me illustrate.

On a normal night, the mafia will have a kill and maybe an inspection/protection/recruitment (All of these are generally 1 shots)

On a normal night, the town will have an investigation, a protection, and maybe a roleblock, cult recrut, watcher ability, every other ability.

Therefore, because the mafia can talk to each other, the mass rollblock would be a good ability on a scum, actually a much better ability than on a townie. It deny's the town as much information as a no-lynch. <-- good for the mafia

WoLG: you are forgetting 1shot roles for the town. there are probably more 1shot pro town roles then 1 shot mafia roles.

Hmmm. Really now? The whole point of that post was to illustrate that:
A. There are more 1 shots available for the town to use.
A[1]. The mafia has a chance to disrupt many of these abilities.

B. The mass roleblock will hurt the town more.
B(1). The mafia *may* be able to deny the town a 1 shot investigation, 1 shot vig, 1 shot roleblock, 1 shot protect

Thus having the role as a mafia is feasible, if not likely.

The way it helps the scum is by possibly eleminating any 1 shot abilities the town may or may not be using that night. Because they are 1 shot, you blocking them means that they can not use them again. (Less information for the town to use against the scum)

As I understand mathcam wasn't a true one shot but rather "turned out" to be one shot. This leaves it with me, the only claimed or dead protown one shot. Let's see, am I gonna have a problem if I block myself? I'm sorry, but I think think I will.

As far as I can tell there is at least if not more basis for the scum having a large number of one shot roles than town.

If not...Are blocks time sensitive, with the earlier block receiving higher priority?

By not being sure, he meant that there is no sure-fire way of knowing that they will fire on the night he blocks. If they don't fire, he can't block them.

Ok, nevermind on the replacement. It seems like the only reason there is any pressure on me at all is because 1 player has voiced suspicion about the sincerity of one of my posts. I'll admit, looking back that seems very scummy if you don't know my alignment, but considering that I was actually suprised by that, it was unexpected.

There is no reason to lynch me based on that when other players have been under suspicion, it seems like some of the players are jumping around for ANY lynch regardless of who it is.

Ok, after re-reading the thread (a brief read) I noticed that I didn't really post an adaquate defense for the first post, and that seems to be the only reason people have repeatedly brought it up (These people being Coron, Mathcam, and Lloyd).

Being from MTG salvation, and only playing in about 7-ish games at that point, I had never seen a daykiller. I thought he was joking about the first daykill, and when he tried a second, I could NOT believe that a role like that could exist. After both kills went through, the only thing I could be was flabbergasted.

My first post was me saying that it was unfortunate that the first nightkill was not a double kill making a 1-for-1 trade. Because as I previously stated "Stating the obvious is as good as any for a first post."

Lloyd has not been really helpful all game: He has mostly just jumped on with other assumptions, been apathetic about the game to the point of lurking a lot, and his few posts have been attacking me for very little reason. As well as his last post being scummy (for he was attempting to build a case on very poor logic, as well as voting math as a retailation vote). After hearing what Lloyd has to say my vote will most likey find it's way to him for the remainder of the day.

@turbo: It seems to be like you are trying to build a false case against someone who is building up quite a case on you. 1. Your excuse about not reading the game, which is just stupid (Or showing that you already know who the town are due to your specific alignment), seems rather unlikely. 2. You said that we can do better than lynch a lurker, but the case against Viper isn't that he is a lurker (Again, you not reading the thread) it's that he has been generally unhelpful (similar to Lloyd). 3. After that, you come back saying that you've "caught up" and then go to attack TWN, trying to bring suspicion off of yourself.

Anything else I would like to add has already been stated by Ish. But I'm thinking that we need to evaluate our thoughts about Turbo.

Also, I would like to hear more from Llyod, his roleclaim is somewhat believeable but we have a somewhat large amount of people alive that are not posting. A deadline is coming up and we need activity.

There is only one new thing that I want to bring up: llyod's obervation about the 3 players not hammering him irked me a bit. If they we're cult buddies with him, assuming he is cult, they would not want to lynch him. If he was not cult, and they were, they could have decided not to lynch him in order to keep from having to defend it tomorrow.
