Passdog, I suppose an overdose of math has warped my mind beyond recognition. My apologies. Still, I think you could have been a lot more lenient in your interpretation. Instead of "the other group", what would you call an entity-that-may-be-either-a-group-or-something-consisting-of-only-one-person? A team? A faction? A party? You could see all of these as implying more than one person, too.

"Let's make it 4, shall we?", the trenchcoated figure hisses. Don Gaetano whips around just in time to see a .22 Long Rifle pointed to his head. The suppressor silences the gun shot, and the figure jumps into his car which makes a fast, clean getaway.

Hmm...interesting that there was only one kill. If the other killing party went after Aelyn, that would explain why there was only one death. Alternatively, there is a backup doc who protected successfully or a roleblocker. Or they could have just not to chosen not to kill altogether...

Not sure what the best play is since we're not sure of DG's sanity. Hmm....
