[General Rules]
1) All site-wide rules apply.
2) Unless your role PM permits you to do so, do not discuss this game with any player outside the game thread.
3) Do not edit or delete posts.
4) Do not post in the thread when dead. A single "bah" post with no game-related content is permitted.
5) The use of smaller-than-normal text, invisible text, or encryption tools to hide information in your posts is prohibited.
6) Do not quote any communication you have with the moderator, including timestamps. Careful paraphrasing is acceptable. Please contact me first if you are unsure of whether a post will violate this rule.
7) Inactivity kills games. Please be considerate and play the game you signed up for. If you do not post every 72 hours, you will be prodded. If you receive 3 or more prods, you may be automatically replaced without warning at the moderator's discretion. Please notify me if you will be V/LA.
8)is the reserved moderator color. Do not use it. Black will also be used by the moderator. It, however, is not reserved.Blue
9) Flavor is written for your enjoyment only and has absolutely no relation to in-game alignment. Analyze it at your own risk.
[Abilities & Effects]
10) This game is nightless. It will remain open nonstop until a faction fulfills its win condition. Any players with the ability to communicate privately may do so at any time.
11) There is no standardized action cycle. All game actions will be managed through V.A.T.S., a mathematically-based points system.
12) Each action in V.A.T.S. costs a certain number of AP (Action Points) to use. You may activate abilities at any time by paying their AP cost.
13) Each player begins the game with a certain amount of AP to spend. Players can gain additional AP in various ways throughout the game.
14) You are expected to keep tabs on your own AP - however, if you lose track, you may request an official number from the moderator.
15) To use an activated ability, simply PM me the ability you wish to use and any appropriate targets. Abilities will be resolved at midnight EST every real-life day. Ties will be broken using modified NAR.
16) Some abilities resolve immediately, whereas others last a certain number of days before expiring. You can still gain AP and activate abilities even while you have an ability in effect.
17) If a player is killed, any effects that would be caused by that player's abilities end immediately.
18) You cannot use more than 5 activated abilities per 24 hour period.
[Voting, Lynching, & Death]
19) To cast a vote, post a boldedVote: Playernamecommand in the thread. Unvotes are appreciated, but not mandatory.
20) VotingNo lynchwill have no effect other than causing a lynch cycle to pass.
21) There are no deadlines. If you do not want to lynch, simply don't vote.
22) This is a partial reveal game. Name and alignment are revealed upon death, but any abilities a player had are not.
23) There may be effects in this game that allow living players to interact with dead ones. Therefore, NEVER discuss the game with a player outside the game or reveal your role to anyone, even after you have died.

My thoughts:
This game was insanely challenging to design, even with Mina and Faraday helping (a million thanks to them, by the way). With 13 town and only 2 scum, the scum needed to have a really nice array of abilities in order to stand a chance. However, even with lots of options, there was still the simple problem of there being too many town. That's where the idea of the double scumkill was born...
Scumkill: Looking back, I still can't fully decide whether this was balanced or not - it allowed the scum to knock off lots of opposition and win on Day 4 (which is early), but without it, scum probably would have been screwed thanks to strong town leadership and process of elimination ... so it was a double-edged sword. Had town been able to catch just ONE of the scum early, the number of kills would have cut down by half, and that would have helped town out a lot.
Abilities: I was slightly disappointed with the way a lot of the abilities worked out. Lots of them ended up not being used and/or did not have any effect. Oh well. I thought they were fairly well-balanced given everybody had a PR. LLD and Katsuki were probably a little overpowered, with MoI and Zdneck being underpowered.
Activity: This game definitely had the burn-out effect; activity was off the charts on Day 1, and then completely died down for the remainder of the days. This really, really hurt town.
Strategy: There were missteps on both sides. Empking should have been lynched post LLD's claim, but the issue wasn't even brought up. Katsuki's use of abilities was pretty terrible - she only Rerouted once, and when she did, she let the ability go through. Reroute had the ability to get her pretty much any ability in the game .... this could have been used to devastating ends, but wasn't. Those are just two things that bugged me; I'm sure there were other little things too.
All in all, this game was really, really REALLY fun to design and moderate. It was tough at times, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Sorry to anyone who had their flavor butchered in the Role PMs...I wasn't really familiar with all the Anime stuff. I tried to read up, but it's difficult to capture the essence of a character based on the Wiki. I thought I did a decent job on the other PMs, though.

FYI, Mina hates you. Your role was a lot better and Mina nerfed it over and over and over during review. At one point all you could do was Roar and vote (and Mina thought this was hilarious). Eventually I settled on lynchproof. Obviously it wasn't super useful in your case, BUT BP was a little too powerful, and I tried to design the role without regard for the player playing it. I think lynchproof is actually a pretty useful power in quite a few cases.-

She was extremely dedicated, analytical, and helpful the rest of the time, so no hating.
As far as reviewing my other games - they usually do not have the UPick aspect and are thus finished design before players sign up, so this would not really be a factor. However, I always post who the reviewers are, so you can feel free to check.-

@MoI - The goal of this game was not always to make abilities useful. Lots of players had post restrictions or abilities that didn't do anything (Empking, for example, could write flavor). Around 75% of abilities were never even used at all. This was necessary to prevent the game from breaking in two - if just a single player were able to fire off an ability that confirmed scum, 50% of the scumteam would be gone. This sucks, but it was a reality of balancing the game design. I hoped that as long as the game was FUN, it wouldn't really matter what abilities actually did.
And yes, lynchproof is basically useless to you since you are a popular N1 NK target. However, bringing this into design opens a huge can of worms. If I account for that, then the counterbalance is to make you BP. But if I give you BP, then I have to give the scum a counterbalance like strongman to get around BP, otherwise they end up wasting one of their kills. Also, you're a good scumhunter, so I have to account for the increased number of scum you will catch if you're alive, which means giving the scum even more abilities ... you see where this is going. It's a slippery slope of balancing if you try and account for what will happen to each player in the game. From a completely objective standpoint, lynchproof has a clear application: it stops town mislynches. This is good for the town - arguably even better than some of the other powers out there (like AP Blocker, Suggestion, and the whatnot) - but not so good that it broke the game. It also fit with the flavor of Godzilla. Sorry that this ended up not benefiting you ... but not much to be done.-

You character was planned later in the design phases since you replaced somebody, so a) it couldn't have any potentially gamebreaking abilities I hadn't already accounted for and b) I was able to frame it around some already existing roles. You got Battlefield Analysis because there were vote tricks that I didn't have any checks against. You got vote manipulation because a) it's a classic flavor fit with Alexander the Great (using the enemy's position against him), b) there wasn't any vote manipulation in the game already and c) it rewarded pure scumhunting skill rather than relying on lucky targeting (also fit well with flavor).-

I don't think your actual abilities were OP'd (you never even used them, did you?) The Parama thing was a doozy, but I actually put that there as a trap against Parama's role. I thought he might get greedy when he saw it, start claiming transactions with you in the thread, and then get killed by the scum (and lose). For some reason, the scum just let it go ... whatever.-

Yeah, this was the BEST. I loved you for it. For some of the other animie characters ... like CSL's...I was like, "wut." I was prowling around GD looking for any information I could find, PMing Reaper Charlie, asking random people IRL if they had seen the show ... yeah.
