Can we PLEASE lynch WC. There are great odds that he is scum.

Are we missing any claims? What do we need to work out for a plan. What about:

Doc protects a confirmed.
Tracker tracks SC.
RB blocks Bunny (I'm reasonably sure that Bunny is VT, but if he isn't we could confirm this before we finalize the lynch)
All nonessential abilities (that is non Tracker/Reuser/Hibernate/RB) are cycled to a nonconfirmed to create further links that may prove useful if we have a scum flip and the game continues.

Should we entertain the idea of having the reuser WATCH instead of Doc? Some have proposed that maybe the new kill flavor means the kill is unblockable.

I had considered flipping based upon passes that have been made, but I realized with it likely to be only 1 scum left, it is sort of irrelevant.

As for your last sentence, that is an interesting idea. I like it not because I think the Doctor ability will not work (I actually think it is the Hibernate ability that is useless now), but that is a confirmed innocent's death worth a scum finding.

The below are 2 scenarios assuming we correctly make the right choice N6 with the reuser ability (we choose the player the scum target):

D6: 3 Confirmed vs 5 non Confirmed (NC lynched, 3 - 4)
N6: Assume Protection occurs
D7: 3 vs 4 to start (After lynch 3 - 3)
N7: C Died (2 - 3)
D8: NC Dies (2 - 2)
N8: C Dies (1 - 2)
D9: LyLO

D6: 3 Confirmed vs 5 non Confirmed (NC lynched, 3 - 4)
N6: Assume Watcher occurs (C dies, 2 -4)
D7: 2 vs 4 to start, Lynch Scum. If last one, Game Over. If not, at least 2 - 3, but possibly bettere with more players now confirmed when compared to recent dead scum.

The last line being the key. We could possibly be autowin depending on how many confirmed we have.

Leaning towards the Watcher over the Doctor. Thoughts from everyone else?

PS -
NonConfirmed should not send an ability to another nonconfirmed that they have previously sent to/received from.

I want to lynch WrathChild the most, but as quiet as Bunnylover is, he's acceptable for the rope also. I believe we have one scum left, so LynchMePls is not an option and I'm treating him as a confirmed player.

i want to lynch bunny as it seems to be decided upon that there is 1 scum making lmp confirmed. that last comment kind of sold me on bunnyscum.
Also, can people still look at my #5 comment a bit back. I think that it is a pretty significant defense.

I didn't send the void collector to pops.

I'm gonna go through with my plan.

As circumstance turns out,
I am in possession of both roleblocking and tracking, but not the resuer ability.
Therefore,
the reuser should WATCH me tonight, not IAI or Saint
(not doctor in case it doesn't work, we don't want all eggs in one basket).
We lynch StrangerCoug. I block WrathChild. I track Bunnylover.


If the last scum (assuming one scum) is SC or WC, i shouldn't be able to die. if there's 2 scum left and SC flips scum, then if i die that would confirm WC. if I'm alive, or there's no kill, then we'll still have every ability and we can go from there.

The thing about this plan is that, now that I've suggested it, we kind of have to go with it :cool:.

Thoughts?

I am for the plan, but can we at least get a claim from StrangerCoug first? Doubt he has any abilities (or any useful ones at least), but still, if someone screwed up and sent him something that should be in a confirmed townies hands, I would not want that to leave the game.

Comments of joy and relief flooded the communication channels, congratulations passed back and forth among the surviving seven subjects.
The celebration was ended by the sudden jarring of the machine as it halted. A voice boomed from the system overhead.

"All subjects exit the test modules. Proceed in an orderly fashion towards the area designated by your assigned engineer."

The seven subjects were filed into a small area in one corner of the chamber. Some plastic film covered the walls and floor.
Once the subjects were lined shoulder to shoulder, the commanding voice came again.

"Face forward!"

The seven confused faces looked forward, seeing only a dark unopened set of double doors.
Giant powerful lights overhead snapped on, harsh white light flooding the chamber, blinding the subjects. At the same instant, the doors burst opened and a troop of guards filed through. They positioned themselves in front of the subjects, then turned to salute the seven that followed.

The Judges entered the chamber, dressed in decorative military suits. They too stopped in front of the subjects.

"Congratulations. You have survived this most crucial Experiment, and provided a great service. We will begin arrangements for your departure."

With that the Judges departed. When the last Judge had exited the chamber, the guards in unison leveled their weaponry against the subjects.

First off, thank you to all players and all the wonderful replacements who helped out throughout the course of the game. I hope you enjoyed your participation in the game.

It was interesting to see how the town's morale swung so hard after the death of RedCoyote and the first scumflip of the game. Nine straight town deaths had the town shot to hell morale-wise. But once there was one scumflip the game just fell into place for town, and the town morale shot way back up again. I think this might be saying that there is a bit of swinginess in the setup.

As my first Large Theme, (and quite complex considering the amount of resolving that had to be done), I am glad that I made no resolution or passing errors in the game. This is not to say that I didn't make mistakes (although I wish I could say that). I want to publicly apologize to popsofctown, as due to some poor comprehension on my part I prematurely posted game flavor for his faked Daykill and Loverize actions. Hopefully any mistakes that I did make ddin't cause too much pain for any of you.

Game MVP definitely goes to I Am Innocent, probably with a co-MVP of popsofctown. I don't remember which post exactly, but popsofctown managed to call the entire remaining 4/5? scum at the time, showing he had awesome reads this game. I Am Innocent did great work with his reads, (he had most of the scum team pegged as well) and heading up the MoI plan and making sure it actually got executed which did a great deal for the town. MoI and I early on felt that his plan was largely going to be ignored, making it easier for scum.

Let it be known that had themanhimself NOT stolen the Dayvig from diddin, it would have gone to StrangerCoug. :twisted:
Something the scum never considered, using the Redirector to redirect the Neighborizor to themselves, "confirming" themselves. I don't think town put any serious consideration into the thought that some confirmations may have been fake.

The differing kill flavors bleeding blood/shotgunned were from different Daevori members. Shotgunned was curiouskarmadog's kills, and Bleeding Blood was StrangerCoug's. The different kill flavors would have appeared earlier had an earlier kill sent be StrangerCoug gone through.

Besides its factional kill, the Serial Killer had a special ability known as Ability Hoarder. Upon hammering or killing a player with the factional kill, they would receive any ability the dying player had, and could select one of the available collected abilities to use in conjunction with their kill. This was why DGB was extremely hammerhappy this game. Now, DrippingGoofball discovered an interaction I had not considered, and very nearly won her the game. After purging q21, she received the Treestump as an option. Had she been left alive till Night 5, she could have then selected the Treestump as a secondary ability, making her effectively unlynchable and unkillable, and with only one Daevori alive, she would have at that point won the game. So lynching DGB the day you did was the best (and truthfully the only option) you had that day. If you review Day 5 with this situation in mind you can see that DGB's desire to live only one more day became quite apparent, and something that I reflected in the lynch flavor of that day.

As for roles, I think you guys got the gist of most of them.

For the virus, that ability did not pan out like I thought it would. It was essentially a steal from Tar's Mind Screw hot potato, but it fit in well with the mechanic. It was set to detonate 723 posts after it entered the game, or if a player failed to pass it within 75 posts they would get terminated. Had the players left it going back and forth between StrangerCoug and popsofctown Day 2, it may have very well eliminated StrangerCoug that Day. Perhaps that was poor wording on my part.
The Dayvig had exactly two shots. After the first trigger of the Virus, the ability got passed into the Ability Reuser. It did not have to come back into play Day 2, but popsofctown chose to return it to play. had he not returned it, the Dayvig would have remained active until the second shot was fired and that would have been the end of that, without returning the Virus into play.

Two roles did not really get as much use as I would have liked. Primarily the Neighborizer. It had potential for an interesting part in this game, and it fit well with the passing mechanic. Unfortunately not much went on in the thread. I think what needed to happen there was giving the Neighborhood QuickTopic Daytalk, which would have made the group more useful. The second ability was the Double voter. I wholly expected that ability to get picked the most out of the Ability Reuser, but it was not once picked, and it died early, seeing only one secret vote the whole game.

Depending on the player reaction to this Experiment, I might consider running Set x02. But for now its back to the drawing board in regards to the scum portion of the mechanic, because its apparent that it is probably the weakest link of this mechanic. I don't think I'll be posting a full action list (there were a lot), but I can answer questions you guys have. That's all I have for right now, maybe more in the morning.
