Quite possibly, if only to avoid a No Lynch. I haven't been reading especially close on Xalxe, I admit.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Hoopla, when you accept the inevitability of your scumbuddy's lynch, will you get the hell off of me?

Xalxe, if one's scumbuddy's lynch becomes inevitable, you stay on that wagon, you silly man.

P.S. Agar is probably scum.

Perhaps I should rephrase CES.

"Hoopla, when the lynch of Fate, your most dear and true scumbuddy becomes a certainty, would you please ever so kindly remove your vote from me and attempt to look pro-town by helping us hang Fate?"

Oh, also, I'd be up for a CES lynch today, mainly due to scum-meta, but considering the deadline I'll keep my vote where it is tyvm.

If it became a certainty why would it even matter where my vote was? Your response to your wagon thus far lacks the usual townie passion/outrage/anger of being lynched - it's hard to conjure up such emotions when you know you're a liar.

I got that was what you meant; I was just jokingly pointing out that your lynch looks a whole lot more inevitable.

There's a difference between guaranteeing with 100% accuracy, and saying "I'm willing to back my reads up and step up behind them."

You're not willing to.
And how did you come to that conclusion? I stated, quite plainly, that I was confident in a Fate lynch, and you've taken every opportunity to claim that I meant everything except that.
This all goes back to that "try to appear town."

Quite simply, I'm calling BS on you meaning "play to win" by that.

Hoopla I'm getting faint town whiffs off Xalve...

Sudo's "yeah I haven't been reading Xalve at all" reads more as scum v. town interaction than scumbuddies.

Sudo lynch please?

Scratch that, you make good points about him not having town flailing tells.

Just more of a snarky ass attitude as he dies.

Katsuki, Pokerface, the deadline is today/tonight (I think) - I hate working out timezones (Flay, you should use the countdown feature). Stop sucking and start voting Xalxe - it's time to compromise and start shifting your votes, you don't post cases 6 hours from the deadline, because even if they're convincing you won't be able to get the numbers.

Hurry up.

chamber has been replaced by InflatablePie, effective immediately. Several other people have been prodded.
Also, I use the world clock, so you should know that deadline is just under 12 hours away.

Image
Eighth Vote Count of Day One

Xalxe - 5 (scotmany12, AGar, Hoopla, Fate, Cogito Ergo Sum)
Fate - 4 (Katsuki, Xalxe, Sudo_Nym Fritzler)
PokerFace - 2 (UltimaAvalon,
chamber
InflatablePie)
Hoopla - 1 (PokerFace)

Not Voting: nobody!

With twelve alive, seven votes will be needed to lynch. Day One will end no later than midnight on Monday, January 17th.

Kinda caught up now.
Xalxe wrote:Also, re:the current vote count:

It seems as if the play today is either Fate or me (sob). I would recommend that those undecided between these two wagons take the opportunity to question us both in order to make a decision. Not doing so may lead to a no-lynch.
There's a sort of defeatism in this post that I find kind of odd, and am not sure what to think of it. As scum, surely he'd be pushing hard to shift the wagon on him? If he is town, he is not doing anything to convince us of such as well.

Can someone quickly summarize the xalxe case for me?

Gee, you've never done that before.

I've skimmed the thread and don't like the Fate wagon due to his reactions, so this other wagon is okay by me, but:

Fate wrote:(She especially loves all my gambits, seeing as she aspires to the same with her only notable one being PGO as vengeful townie which was such an obvious self-vote that who ever lost to that was a terrible player and that's probably why I don't remember their name)

VOTE: Xalxe

Kats or Scot for partners. Maybe Sudo. Not quite sure yet.
