I just want to get the election over and the lynching begun, so I'm voting for one of the candidates with the most votes already.

I don't think this is very difficult.
Lucy and Linus are both likely to be in the game. So in the absence of a counterclaim, we can safely assume, for the time being, that these are their real roles.
Two roleblockers in a mini game is not impossible. But twopro-townroleblockers in a mini game is simply unbelievable.
So the overwhelming likelihood is that one of them is scum. But which one? Lucy or Linus?
That is a no-brainer. When all is said and done, Lucy is a nasty piece of work and its difficult to think of many other major Peanuts characters who could be scum.
SoUnvote: Dragon Phoenix(but IGMEOY) andVote: LyingBrian. You don't get any better evidence than this on Day 1.-

A tracker follows people at night. If he picks player A, he might get a result that player A visited player B. All that tells the tracker is that player A has a nightchoice and that he excercised it on B. A might be a doc, roleblocker, scum, SK, etc etc.
But if B turns up dead in the morning, then the tracker will have a fairly good idea that A might have been the one who killed him. See further Information Roles.
Some good points here. Since Quidgyboo has been fingered by a claimed cop, and was acting suspiciously yesterday, I would have thought a claim was in order.Quailman wrote:Right now we've got a cop with two scum results. There is always the concern that he's paranoid, but I'd guess the chances are better that he's sane. That leaves us with the best option IMO of lynching on of the targets today. If the cop wants to verify his sanity, and he suspects Sotty of being scum also, then Sotty shouldn't be the test of his sanity. OTOH, if we lynch one of his targets and find scum, then the chances improve that he's sane and we can trust his results.
If we don't lynch DP or Quidgyboo, then Sotty, who was blocked, would make an excellent choice.-

I've done my re-read and this is what I saw:Mr Stoofer wrote:I believe the remaining scum can be found in this group:
d_rouge
Iammars
mlaker
Quailman
Sotty7
d_rouge: Virtually AWOL and now being replaced. Impossible to read.
Iammars: Strange reaction to double roleblocker claim; didn't vote for LyingBrian even though he said Lucy could be scum; pushed to lynchbothPickle's investigation targets - ignored that he was almost certainly paranoid; pushed for DP lynch, although unvoted in the middle of it.
mlaker: Few posts; nothing scummy.
Quailman: I disagree with his analysis and arguments in relation to Pickle's results; but his conclusion was that we should lynch DP; and he was straight onto LyingBrian. [I give him litte credit for the last point, since Quailman is a very experienced player and would have realised that LyingBrian was doomed.]
Sotty7: He was roleblocked on the night there were no kills; and I'm not sure I understand his attitude to the DP lynch. IGMEOY (and all the others on this list).
In all this I have assumed that the scum knew that Lucy was on their side, but didn't know that LyingBrian was Lucy. That would be the usual way to set-up the Traitor role in a theme game.
I'm fairly comfortable with avote: Iammarsin the circumstances.-

What you said was this:Iammars wrote:Also, Stoof, I pushed for both of the investigation targets to claim, not to lynch.
No doubt you will say that the words "unless they provide a bona fide reason" is a call for a claim. But post 108 still looks like over-eager scum to me. A pro-town player of your experience would have immediately thought that theIammars in post 108 wrote:wow Pickle, that's some good results there, and unless they provide a bona fide reason not to lynch them, they're dead...most likelyexplanation for Pickle's results was paranoia (or possibly insanity, which we can now rule out). You did not even mention the possibility in post 108.-

Hmmm... In Peanuts Mafia on the GL (where Iammars is active), there were 20 players, and so to make enough roles for eveyone, each of Snoopy's alter-egos was a role (e.g. "Joe Cool", "Foreign Legionnaire").
Now in this game, with only 12 players, I think that there are enough roles to go round without having to have lots of players being alter-egos of Snoopy.
So this claim does nothing to relieve my suspicion of Iammars. Indeed, vigilante is a classic scum claim, so my suspicion is slightly increased.
Unless someone else has an alter-ego of Snoopy as a role, I'm for lynching Iammars. And of course if someone else claims Snoopy (not any alter-ego, just Snoopy) that would seal Iammars' fate.
If anyone else has an alter-ego of Snoopy for a role, I think they should come forward (without revealing any abilities, of course).-

Indeed, the Official Peanuts Website lists exactly 12 "Main Characters", and the Red Baron ain't one of them.Mr Stoofer wrote:Now in this game, with only 12 players, I think that there are enough roles to go round without having to have lots of players being alter-egos of Snoopy.-

I'm stiking to my Iammars vote but I think there are some flaws in my posts 218/219. The main one being: if we are all one of the 12 main characters, what need is there for the scum to lie about their roles? Apart from Lucy, who is dead, none of the main characters could be considered evil. So if Iammars is one of the main 12, why not just give his real name?
[Indeed, I am perplexed as to why DP claimed Woodstock instead of claiming Sally. I for one would not have regarded Sally as a scummy role (though I still would have voted DP).]
So I doubt if Iammars is one of the main 12 - otherwise he would have just claimed his real role name. The real question is: is he scum? I'm not certain but I think there is enough evidence against him for today's lynch, given that we have lynched correctly so far.
My second choice for lynch would be rajrhcpfreak/mlaker. Mlaker lurked in an uncharacterisitc manner, and there is something about the above post I don't like. Seems too eager.-

mlaker is also one of the 4 counted as voting for Iammars -- so we need one of Quidgyboo, Quailman, Pickle, or elvis_knits to vote for Iammars for a lynch. Then we can get this game going.Sotty7 wrote:
I believe it's because he didn't unvote me. Is it five to lynch? If that's the case then mlaker needs to unvote me and revote and we would have ourselves a lynch.Mr Stoofer wrote:Also, mlaker is voting for Iammars and not sotty7.
Pickle, Quailman, I'll do you a deal: I promise I'll claim tomorrow. And since no-one else wants me to claim, that's a pretty good deal.-

I am Schroeder.
Yeah, good work! I wanted to make sure that when I was killed my investigations would be discernable from my posts. But I was a bit concerned that it was too obvious I was a cop, so I was quite happy about the fact that I was under some pressure.elvis_knits wrote:I thought that Stoofer was cop, but then when Pickle and Quailman (my mason) voted for Stoofer, I got very confused! I still thought Stoofer was probably a cop, but it couldn't hurt to a)challenge him a little and b) throw some suspicion his way so that maybe mafia don't kill him tonight.-
