VOTE: Vote: Mariyta
You were town last time, so you must be scum this time.
I bet there's going to be a lot of mudslinging this game.-

I have to agree with the Lord Cable wagon; there's justifying your vote, and then there's overjustifying it. Nico simply does not come across as scummy, so I don't get that case.
Unvote, Vote: Lord Cable
An early day 1 wagon I agree with?-

@LC, why are you calling me out on activity levels?
Sapo's latest posts remind me of 1046 (yeahhhhh), which boosts her up to the top of my scumcharts. I still disagree LC, near across the board, and I really think he could do well to stop claiming his reads as definite, as that's just annoying, but the relationship with sapo earns points.

In 1046, there was a part where a super fast wagon formed on someone who eventually turned out to be the tracker, and I was 5th on that wagon, like now. At that point, someone jumped in and started wagonalyzing with the conclusion that my vote was a bad one, just like sapo just now, and they turned out to be scum. Parallels amazing.
DH? Nico? Slaxx?-

LC, you said earlier that DH is playing like DH, but different scummily different somehow. Point out exactly how he's playing different from typical DH (things like alleged "smear campaign" are not different from what I've seen).
In other news, if sapo flips scum, malthusis gains major scumpoints for soft defense right there, as that's only one of two points addressed in his first post in some time, the other being the can't miss topic.-

The most recent discussion has me thinking palmer, chesskid, RC, and Maryita are all town, since I'm getting a lot of confident in their townliness reads on them. I'm still thinking LC is town based on relations with sapo, and how she's indicating she thinks LC is town but struggles in a can't-really-come-up-with-a-good-reason-state-other-than-knowing-that-as-scum. Also, LC was being terribly irrational, I think that's more due to under pressure irrationality. I haven't really changed my mind about Malthusis and I'm already getting tired of repeating myself.
Since I'm here for this one, that use of "mislynch" isn't a slip. This is from recent experience.-

1. 8 lines were probably not necessary to make your point; stop post inflating.RobCapone wrote:Womc, the only thing you really said about mal, is if sapo flips scum, he gains scum points
You later say your scum reads are still sapo and mal
Later you say you are tired if repeating yourself
You haven't made a case on mal
You assume he is scum if sapo is scum, that's your entire case
Sorry that's not good enough, seems you are purposefully laying low but slipping in accusations without any real reason
You want them lynched? You gotta make a case against them big boy
I agree sapo is scummy but the wagon looses credibility cause you are on it with no case and Lord C is on it.
2. If you go back and read deeper, you'll see the reasoning I gave when I first said mal was scum and same for sapo. Other than that, mal hasn't really posted enough to say more, other than to say he's not really said much, and palmer's got that covered. So this is bullshit.-

Mal only chose to address LC wagon and what I said about sapo, in his first legitimate post after ~7 pages (IIRC), which means he paid special attention to stuff pertaining to sapo which is indicative of how scumbuddies see each other.RobCapone wrote:Well color me blind cause I can't see what you ate talking about, can you point out your reason for me?

OH GOD THE MULTI-POSTING
BTW, CAPS LOCK = TOWN.
Yeah, this back and forthness is inflating this thread's post count.
I thought LC was scummy at first, but no longer. And the anti-judgmental side of me says LC is not stupid, but has simply been irrational.palmertrou wrote:
I know, but I want to get this straight first because it may not be nessacary.RobCapone wrote:still waiting for your lolcase on me
I want to know if Maryita, Chesskid, WoMC agree with this. I don't think I do. Sorry Cable.Lord Cable wrote:I'm not scummy and I'm not stupid, so I probably won't be vigkilled tonight.
This palmer vs RC back and forth is reaffirming my opinion that both are clear town. Palmer should be clearer, but RC is posting in a very balls to the wall frustrated tone
, and insulting language like above lends itself to ingrained knowledge that he's town and will not back down since he knows he is ultimately right. Scum would be much more submissive, and it would be hard for them to get angry for their opponents declaring truth.RobCapone wrote:Why do you care so much about what others think?
Think for yourself
Basically, I've done it before and know what it's like. The notion that he should die because of his "anti-townness" is a bad one, by vig or lynch, and is in of itself, "anti-town."
So yeah, I could totally see DH being mafia.-

I FOR SURE thought you were talking about millar there, but then I cheated and found out it was Jack who was supposedly being obvious scum. Almost made me reconsider. Seriously, go back and read through Jack's and millar's posts and tell me which one RC is much closer to.palmertrou wrote:RobCapone wrote:Point a game where you lynched scum by them acting obvious day 1 please
I can
So the argument is WIFOM right? I think it was before anyway.
And Gaoth earns scumpoints for the easy wagon.-

The first 9 pages are irrelevant to the point that he is an easy target know, and that Gaoth feels the need to reiterate everything in a pseudo contributory way.chesskid3 wrote:
Ok. Go read say the first 9 pages. he wasn't an easy target then. he started getting flak, and NOW he's making himself an easy target. He's trying to play the VI/frustrated townie card so we give him a pass, and it's not happening.WeaponsofMassConstruction wrote:

@Gaoth, that's true. I take back what I said.
Nico seems decent town, and so I have 9 slight to heavy town reads. Oh hey. Unless DH pulls townliness suddenly, I like sapo/mal/DH scum team.
And for the record, I think RC is probably the most obvtown other player here.-

You misunderstand. You never got town points in the first place (I skimmed the walls), and as far as I could tell from the skimming, you weren't posting different from usual, but from previous games, that doesn't give much in the way of alignment. Your lurkiness would be a greater tell in any case.DemonHybrid wrote:@WOMC: You say that you're putting me on your scum list, however, you seemed to post as if you felt I was town a few posts ago in your ISO and that LC is wrong, or at least inquiring about it. That's a somewhat radical change, what is different?
And in other news, werewolf just lost his town points.
Lynching someone on the basis that they are anti-town (as opposed to scummy) is in of itself, anti-town.-

When someone hasn't posted for a while (arbitrary, but usually when people agree). It's more a meta thing than a motivation thing, since you can't tell if someone is legitimately busy, but it's folly to assume they definitively are swamped.DemonHybrid wrote:
When, in your opinion, does lurking become lurking? How are you able to tell the difference between someone being busy and someone intentionally ignoring the game?WeaponsofMassConstruction wrote:

Really beginning to think one of the scum is palmer. I know I said I thought he was deftown day 1, but I've re-evaluated.
Especially today, where, if you look closely, you'll notice that palmer is attacking a bunch, but is not coherently dishing out focused scum candidates and rather reads as trying to get someone mislynched:
Not paying attention. Along with the fact that I unvoted, you should've noticed that chesskid was actually the first to put sapo at L-1. Thus this statement falls in line with trying to push a mislynch, as it conveniently ignores important details in favor of the negative. Secondly, this attack comes from hindsight, as during the lynch, it's clear that you will not unvote a scumread.palmertrou wrote:WoMC, Goath, pretty pissed at you two also all of you that should've unvoted when the wagon got too close (Chesskid and Rob)
Also, since Gaoth is apparently new, I want to see more AtE.
Again with the trying to get someone mislynched. Understanding the circumstances of voting werewolf, pretty much everything between first vote and hammer is the same, and so palmer is not really trying to distinguish who is actually scum.Coupled with you're vote on Werewolf you're looking really bad at the moment WoMC. You're vote on Werewolf was suspicious to me. Explain yourself...
Vote WoMC
Of course, the correct way to VCA is to back it with other posts, but if you're trying to get someone mislynched, I guess you just kind of point.
I haven't seen DH bus to date. By that I mean serious case, but all of his targets there are dead, at least IIRC. Also, by meta extension is that he soft suspicions his parterns, like many players do, so calling someone outright town is great for townpoints. Still think RC is town.palmertrou wrote:Quotes of the dead.
DeamonHybrid (Scum) wrote:Point out specific instances that scream "I AM FUCKING SCUM!!! LOOK AT ME!!!" in RC's play. I'll help convince you that werewolf is a better lynch.
Again with not doing enough research in building a case. If this was town building a legitimate case against scum, this post wouldn't exist because research would've revealed Mariyta made her last post on day 1.
Her last post before the NK. Hmmmmm...Maryita (Cop) wrote:My expected chunk of time won't come until tomorrow. Deepest apologies.

Another thing I've been noticing, palmer has a hell of a lot more suspicions reads than town reads. This fits more in line with scum than town since
A. Town tries to fit their scum reads in line with scum counts and relations; suspecting everyone accomplishes nothing.
B. Scum, in calling everyone out
1. puts everyone else on edge and shifts focus to defending themselves (also opens door for OMGUS)
2. sets up possible mislynches all over the place.
For example.palmertrou wrote:At the moment I'm pretty suspicious of all of you. However, Chesskid, WoMC and Maryita slightly less so. As much as I trust these guys (which isn't all that much) I distrust Robcapone and Saparovirus.-
