Sweet! People are posting! Anyways, some thoughts.

As far as a scum cop, I doubt it. It's possible, I suppose, as I felt from the theme of this game that two scum teams would be very likely. In fact, I was pretty much certain, we have the two crime families...And then, day 1 happened. We had several Gotti family members die, and both were townie. Mrs. Gotti immediately, and then the grandfather later on. So now, I'm not so sure. I'd still think it's likely, and that perhaps only a small section of the families are the hardliners against the wedding? It would allow for safer claims for mafia. Still, up for consideration. I generally pay more attention to powers claimed than the person claimed, but I don't recall anyone claiming gotti/gambino roles yet. I'll double check if it becomes relevant, I guess.

As for the claim of cop, I'm starting to wonder. I know it's a WIFOM argument, but the power of the claim makes it safer for mafia, I think. He's not in immediate risk, I don't think, but we have a deadline and someone's gotta go. I'm going to sit on my vote for a while longer. Certainly, the stakes are higher with his claim, but it doesn't make the bet any worse.

Fritzler, why does an Italian Mob wedding have a DJ (as opposed to a band or whatever is the appropriate musical thing for a traditional Italian wedding)? Also, I'd sort of like to know the mechanic for your roleblocking (the cops check people for weapons-surely you have some flavor also).
