This game is suffering from the most severe case of apathy I've seen in a while. Throwing down a powerhammer led to a couple things:
1.) I wanted to see what Nacho would do given he was on.
2.) I wanted to see what Richard would do with the threat of a power hammer.
3.) I figured what the hell if it goes through - it'd say something INTERESTING if he was actually scum and, hopefully even if not, do something.

I sure didn't expect a cop to just hold it and teehee all the way home. I was, in fact, outgiggled.

These reasons for hammering Richard don't make any sense at all. 1 and 2 are things that occurred before you actually hammered Richard. Once Richard and nachomamma reacted to the threat you had accomplished those goals. So, why did you still need to hammer? 3 is a terrible reason. Is adding spice to the game more important than having role claims and a day longer than 6 pages? No, it isn't.

My saying that I still don't like Shotty was a reference to D1, wherein I didn't like Shotty's play. After D1 was over, I was focused more on the hammer (i.e. Spyrex and, to some extent, Nacho), casting pretty much everyone else into the realm of nulltells. When I reread, I remembered how I felt and I realized that not much had changed on that front. So I voted him.

I was quickhammered after the L-2 vote. A prior claim was unwarranted and a subsequent claim was not possible. I left for five minutes and came back to find myself lynched. A Nacho-Spy team was VERY tempting to call in the Dead QT for those two votes alone. Worse, Spy's reaction on Day 2 where he had absolutely no qualms about hammering a pro-town power role.

By the same token, would anyone have actually believed the claim?
