I have poured my soul into this, it is up to friend, I am done talking
he needs to hammer hoopla, but if he doesn't want to believe us, then we can lose together and I can just blame him and every single game I see him in I can joke about how he messed up as 1/3rd of lylo-town with 5 when I've been preaching Hoopla for like 3 game days, and he could hammer for the win because foilist and I are spot on.

I honestly expected it to be Hoopla/Friend, didn't you foilist?
I figured Shotty was pretty much confirmed town, but there is no way he is, unless Friend has a sick sense of humor
There is no nead to make cases


If I was with hoopla, we could have both voted foilist SO EASY, even she admitted that as scum
If I was with foilist, he would have tried to bus my ass, and probably would right now knowing his style as scum
If I was with shotty, hoopla would be dead, and we would have won
If I was with friend, hoopla would be dead, and we would have won
There is no scenario where I can even be scum really. I'm going to be honest, here. If I was scum with foilist, I'm fairly certain I would have immediately asked the mod to replace out. We don't really go well together as scum, because I am very stupidly loyal, and he is a busser. He likes crazy plans, and I make one liners and ONLY one liners pretty much, while not answering any questions.

I am not doing that here. I am answering anything, and I am SURE of who the scum are. If you hadn't unvoted, friend, when shotty got on he would have voted foilist and then hoopla would have voted foilist, too. You really made the right decision, but you only went halfway, and were pretty lukewarm about it as you needed to hammer hoopla unless one of you/foilist is straight up sick and twisted. That would be going against your win condition, though, which isn't how you should be playing mafia. I don't see how you would feel good about delaying a hammer as a joke. It wouldn't be very funny if you could have won and you didn't.

That being said, barring the possibility of foilist/friend as a sick, demented person who won't hammer for the win as scum, hoopla/shotty HAVE TO BE THE FINAL SCUM TEAM. Also, given my past history as scum on this site, you will note that I do not claim townie as scum in medium to large games. In f11, sure, but not in a setup like this. I would have claimed vig, as seen in my offsite meta in a game with 13 people at the start:

If the setup is open, and I know the majority are townies/I can't get away with a tracker/vig claim, I'll claim townie. I don't even know if this setup was open or not, but there is no way I would claim townie as scum here. I would pretty much only do that in F11.

Only five townspeople showed up at the center on this day. Heated words flew back and forth. Someone threw mud.

"You're scum! I know it!"

"No, you!"

"Me? You've got to be kidding. I could have killed you if I wanted to earlier. I didn't, so I must be town."

"Nah uh, you could still be scum with HIM!"

The debate raged for hours, until suddenly Furcolow climbed atop the bulldozer that started this whole crazy ordeal. The remaining townspeople quieted. Furcolow rarely had much of anything to say, and most of them had been simply ignoring him this whole time.

"Hoopla is scum," he declared, first quietly, then with more force and confidence. "HOOPLA IS SCUM. YOU'VE GOT TO BELIEVE ME, I AM TOWN. I COULDN'T BE SCUM WITH YOU, BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE HAMMERED HIM. I COULDN'T BE SCUM WITH YOU EITHER, BECAUSE I COULD HAVE HAMMERED HER. I AM TOWN. HOOPLA IS SCUM. LYNCH HOOPLA."

Friend stood below him, debating whether or not to believe Furcolow. "I don't know what to do..."

"You'll vote Furcolow if you know what's good for the town," Hoopla said. "Trust me on this. We can't let him get away with his scheming! I believe in you, Friend! Remember that time at that place where we did those things? Yeah, we're great friends, aren't we? We even have sister roles. You should vote Furcolow."

"Hmm..."

Everyone stared at Friend as he deliberated. Friend paced, nervously, staring down Foilist... then Furcolow... and finally, Hoopla.

"...I'm sorry, Hoopla," he finally said, and tied the noose around her neck.

Order of night action resolution is based off the Natural Action Resolution wiki page.

1.) Roleblock
2.) Protect
3.) Kill
4.) Track

All kills happen simultaneously. So if the Vig and a Mafia Goon target each other, they both die (unless the doctor saved one of them or one was roleblocked.)

Tracker can still get results if a person was killed that night.

The Backup can pick up the mafia's roleblock ability. However, if a goon dies, he doesn't get a killing power. Only if the vig dies.

If a player is roleblocked when they otherwise would have succeeded with an action, the player will receive a message stating so outright.

The doctor will not receive notice of whether or not someone attempted to kill his chosen patient even though there are two possible kills during any given even night; he'll just have to try to figure that out for himself when day comes up.

Worst case scenario for town, they hit LYLO day three. Worst case scenario for scum, they lose night two by vig shot.

As it turns out, the only note I took with the intention of posting here later was

"post 120 - eldarad pins the third scum while dismissing the cases on the other two. XD"

<_< eldarad, I know I told you in the dead QT that you pinned all the scum at one point - I was incorrect. I remembered having written this down and that it had

something

to do with all the scum, but I didn't go back to double check. Oops.

Uite was fabulous for the short period of time he was in the game and if vote plurality rules hadn't killed him, he may have gone on to win the game.

Hoopla did an amazing job pulling a scummy slot out of its pit. It's a shame for scum that shotty didn't bus her like she told him to, but I'm sure Hoopla has more to say about that, so I'll let her be the one to rant.

All that said, I was pretty sure for most of the game that scum was going to win it, because town was just so,

so

bang-your-head-against-the-wall-in-frustration misguided.

Friend was wrong most of the time. He has the ability to hold sway over other players, though, so if he can just get down the whole "guessing scum right" bit, he'll be a force to be reckoned with.

Furcolow was... I'll admit, unimpressive at first, and soon after letting him into the game I even felt a sense of regret, because I thought my game was going to be taken over by VIs. He turned that around, though, and had really stellar play on day 5. I don't generally play that great when I'm not interested in a game, either, but holy cow, it was a

night and day

difference.

eldarad did a good job of being a voice of reason without appearing to be too much of a threat to scum. If only he'd actually targeted the right people at night, he could have come out of the shadows and been a complete game-changer, leaving scum not knowing what hit them.

Midnight's Sorrow's JK claim had me going "whut" just as much as everyone else. No one understood it in the dead QT, either.

On the subject of fakeclaiming, I felt foilist's fake vig claim was dangerous but overall good play. He knew when he needed to retract the claim, and he did. Enigma's counterclaim (followed by his attempted switch to the Friend wagon) were both terrible plays. Hoopla changing the counterclaim to an Odd Night Vig was an amazing tactic that I'm sure would have worked under different circumstances.

Oh. On the subject of Enigma... dissing me and other players were only part of the reason he was forcibly replaced. Night one he was also determined to play against his wincon, stating that there was no way scum was going to win after his failed quicklynch on Friend, and that I should just let him shoot himself and forfeit the game for scum. When I refused to let him do such a thing, he got more and more belligerent until finally I had to replace him with Orochi, who did the best he could with what he had, I think.
