I think it's blatantly obvious. You're making no sense. Voting seemingly at random, and saying you'll keep your vote on for flippancy, a null tell considering flippancy is a part of the game. After being told as much, you make a babbling, nonsensical post, which you haven't explained despite three players expressing confusion. THAT is why I'm voting you.-

This is the post that stands out to me as scummy, when compared with this:llama wrote:I find it hard to believe that you really don't think I read your post at all... Especially when I quoted it to you. You = Liar. Liars = scum. Therefore, you = scum.
Oh wait, that was someone else who said that, so it doesn't have that ironic effect.
Jokey style =/= trying to be liked by town. Jokey style = personality. End of story.
and this:Llama wrote:but people are so much more fun when they're slightly irritated...
He claims a jokey style makes you seem like you're trying to be liked by town, which in turn makes you scummy. Well then, those above two quotes make him scummy.Lllama wrote:Because I'm worried that I might actually be insane. Did you know that that eliminates a whole slew of career opportunities?
Also, why do you think Mallow is town?Last edited by Porochaz on Sat Jul 31, 2010 11:47 am, edited 1 time in total.-

Jack said we got a guilty on Mallow. If we lynch him and he's town we know he's paranoid or scum, or, worst case scenario, that Mallow was a miller. On the other hand, if llama turns up town, we get less information than if we lynch mallow and he flips town. I don't see exactly what warrants a llama lynch, while a guilty result has been found on mallow and he's been acting more scummy. To me, and to others too.Raivann wrote:@xvart, Strangercoug, Mitsuru - We are lynching llama today.
Also, please stop trying to lead the town when you're making posts like these.
Raivann wrote:No, it was directed at Llama, your scumbuddy. In regards to his flailing.
Hardly contributive with posts like these.Raivann wrote:^ replace "lazy." with "scum."FOS:Raivann-

I said nothing about you being more scummy. I said we'd get more information from a mallow lynch. About Jack's alignment or sanities. A paranoid cop realizing what they are early can be fantastic, and stop town hurting themselves. While we get next to nothing out of your lynch. Besides. Mallow's acting far more scummy than llama right now.-

Because doing this seems awfully OMGUS, and he doesn't give reasons for his read. It's just OMGUS disguised as fancy labeling.Anon wrote:

Seeing as the Mallow lynch has gone nowhere, I'll beUnvotingmyself. I don't have time to make a new case at the moment, but I will later tonight or tomorrow. Just thought a VC would help.-

Raivann has been quite aggressive and unhelpful. He seems to want to lead the town but in the posts he makes, he doesn't contribute much. He seems to have slipped under the radar with short posts and gotten away with no contribution, and then I read this part of a post
I don't like this. It seems a reason to ignite the llama lynch. Then he begins to make short, uncontributive posts? Why are you telling us who's being lynched when you aren't even making a case on your top suspect?Raivann wrote:
scum=liars=llama.
if a=b and b=c then a=c.
unvote, Vote:llamaeatataco
Flameaxe is being extremely protown in my eyes. He's making cases and backing them up. It's a good thing. However, the aggressive tone in his last couple of posts is a little weird. However, I can see why he's acting this way. It's still anti-town, however. Even if it isn't scummy.-

I didn't like the way Anon entered this game at all. He had to be prodded, then demanded opinions of us. However, that's more playstyle than anything else. In any case, he's making an effort to scumhunt.
Blackberry I was sure was town until she switched her vote from Jack to Anon. You stated early in the game:
Did Budja's answer satisfy you? Or are you voting Anon because you consider him more scummy?Blackberry wrote:Unvote
Vote: Budja
I want to see how you react to this. You've done something that raises a red flag to me (I'm not revealing what it is - because it is a tell that I think is more accurate than a lot of other tells, and by revealing it - it prevents mafia from doing that tell in the future).-

This seems WIFOMish. His change in personality doesn't benefit him as scum any more than it would as town. The fact that he changed his playstyle would help him regardless of alignment because his previous behavior would throw suspicion on him. It's not that it makes him more town. But it doesn't make him less town either. It's a null tell.Anon wrote:You have accepted that you have changed playstyle. Ok Nulltell. My point is that this change of playstyle benefits you more in the scum agenda. Being an ass gathers you negative attention. Not being an ass gives you a free pass. This is not tell only applied to you. I dont even remember who your top suspects are.
- Flameaxe has acepted that he has used gut before. Obv as scum he would not use gut, so this tell only applies when he is town. He is not using gut in this game. Jumping to the conclusion that this change of approach makes him more likely scum than average is not illogical at all.
We're voting the wrong person here. Reread and ISO your remaining suspects and think again. There's too many people voting for Raivann because it's just a bandwagon. There are more scummy people than him, and I'll back it up with a case shortly.-

[quote="llama"If you break any of the main links in the chain, your argument fails.[/quote]
Calling people's English bad. General insults. I define this as cracking under pressure. There's no real need to call people's arguments stupid or English bad in my experience. The fact that you react with this increases my scum read on you.
You also seem awfully determined to make a big deal out of my town read on Raivann and asking him about his role when I thought he was dead. Why are you so determined to get a scum read out of this? It was just a role question. Like anyone would ask when someone dies.-

OK. I can admit when I'm wrong. I have no real evidence on Llama and thought I'd try and get a lynch because I have a gut scum read on llama. Take it as you like.
As for Raivann, he might have been scummy at first, and I thought so too, but now he's asking questions, responding to accusations and trying to scumhunt. So what if he doesn't post huge walls of text? He was scummy at first, but isn't now. He shouldn't be lynched.-

I really don't think using the term WIFOM is scummy at all. I've seen it used and used it as scum and town alike, and I really don't think it's a reason to vote someone. And even if Raivann was acting scummy, it just seems like Blackberry is jumping on a bandwagon for the sake of it. I don't like it.-

I don't like it much, but I think he's acted more town throughout. He might not be posting huge text walls, but I have a more scummy read on Blackberry. Despite his explanations, his vote hopping is scummy. However, I realize a BB lynch probably won't happen today, so I'll be keeping a close eye on he and Mallow.-

Even though BB disproved this theory later, it's an attempt to look at BB's playstyle. I liked this post. It's from ISO 26.Raivann wrote:Here is Blackberry somewhat appeasing an attacker. To call me an open minded townsperson like that pinged my scumdar. But it wasn't until his stunt where asked for Jack to be replaced for not answering questions that really got me thinking scum.
ISO 36 states:
Though some may not see scumhunting in here, I think Raivann has made a good point. Flameaxe's reply was weird. I don't see how Raivann was keeping his opinions from the rest of us. I thought his reply, though slightly exaggerated, was a town one.Raivann wrote:Here is where flameaxe starts and decides to go after me.
He decides he is gonna make an example of this brash noob. How dare I call him and llama scumbuddies!

Unvote. Vote BlackberryI can agree with this case, and I'm not buying his cases. However, I REALLY want Mallow lynched tomorrow.
The reason I was sticking to my guns on Mallow then saying I won't vote BB because it isn't going anywhere is because I really want mallow lynched. Call it tunnelling, but I have a serious gut read on Mallow as scum. Hypocrisy, yes, but I don't think Mallow is good for town this game.-
