Yes, you totally can. You, as a mod, are ultimately the person who lets the players play. If you don't want a certain player in, you can say that (as long as you aren't abusing this to get an invitational, if you read between mith's rules)

Now, if shotty thinks he should act like this when a mod keeps him out of his game for perfectly sound reasons, I'd keep him out, or at least ask my players if they really want to play with him.

You need to wait till you have been on MS for 3 month before you sign up to mod.
You still have over a week by my calculations.

My turn to mod is coming up. I don't know if I get to choose to run whatever I want, but if I have an influence then I'd like to run something small (7 players or fewer), and I'd like to cater to player demand.

Does anyone have a request for a setup they'd like to play soon?
