About the mafia kill; Assuming is stupid. This is SpyreX we're talking about, there is no way he'd make the mafia kill so obvious and just say "hey, it's a magic missile, burn the evocator!". That also supposes only Powerful Wizards are mafia, since apprentices don't have spells. Stop the WIFOM.

For what it's worth, possible killing moves for each PW

abju -> explosive rune
conj -> cloudkill
Ench -> power word Kill
Evo -> meteor swarm
illu -> phantasmal killer
necro -> Wail of the banshee
trans -> temporal stasis

and div... erm... get a deck of many things and draw death or something <_<

Now that we've established anyone can kill anyone, can we move on from trying to analyze the NK's flavour?

Well, arguably I said it was a safer choice but since we'd agreed to power divination I thought we'd go with that. Then it turned out Andrius of all dubious peops is the diviner, so I retracted on that.
Arguably Abjuration seemed like a safe enough choice, without knowing WHO was the evoker. Abjurations can't do that much evil, worst case scenario he's a mafia doc and he'll just stop your lack of vigkills
