Let's play percentages. 1/3 players are scum. The first three people to post are XScorpion, ODDin, and Mr. Chaos. One of these three players must certainly be scum!

What do those things have to do with each other? Also, I plainly stated I was not attacking ODDin's post for "trying to come out of RVS"; it was a word choice thing.Mr.Sandman wrote:inHim uses someone trying to come out of RVS as a reason for voting, then says:

No, the use of the word "better" was what I was claiming was the "propaganda."
Starting bandwagons isn't inherently scummy, as they are the town's main tool. However, when I read ODDin's post, I thought he was using devious means to get others to join the bandwagon.Show"I'm from Indiana. I know what you're thinking: Indiana... Mafia." - Jim Gaffigan

You should, because you just said that you were voting for inhim because "he came up with a reason to switch his vote in RVS which as we all know is the single most scummy thing ever," which ODDin did first.easjo wrote:I don't see any problem with Oddins vote, should I?

Definite New-Town read on Beefster.Beefster wrote:@ODDin:
About connections: it didn't seem relevant to comment on that. I see what you're saying.
To be honest, I'm kinda detached from this game. I'm putting too much focus on my other game. I'll fix that.
Anyway, here's some analysis:
ODDin:
casts the first real vote. Good.
You've been fairly pro-town this whole time.
What was I thinking?

Easjo:
Voices in your head? Pfft! I hardly think that's valid just outside the RVS.
Self-contradiction. The need to lie is a scum trait, and you suck at lying.
FoS: easjo
inHim:
Isn'tanythingbetter than a random vote? Reasons start off few and far between, but then gradually build up and make mistakes. But really? Chewing him out overword choice? Your words and actions here don't seem characteristic of a 6th year townie.
He then defends himself in his stupidity. Is he playing village idiot or something?
He says he doesn't want to muddy the waters. What exactly does he mean by this?

Chronopie:
If his meta tends to be anti-town and he's being lurky, he's definitely a player to keep an eye on.

Some of the assumptions Beefster is making seem very innocent/genuine. Also, the way he thought about his argument, and even rescinded some of it, seems town. I think Elscouta is town for trying to get people to focus (even if it was on me) and that XScorpion is actually town because of the way he was attacking easjo when no one else saw fit to do so. He kept an attack even after he was chided, I believe, and that's definitely townlike.
I kept forgetting to answer this question of ODDin's. This setup is intriguing by the fact that there are two pairs of opposing scum. The need to keep your partner alive for your team to survive a possible crosskill will make Elscouta and Mr.Sandman (Beefster and ConfidAnon a little bit, but they joined into the hunt later) high candidates for ODDin's partner IF ODDin is scum. I'm neutral on ODDin at the moment.
If I had to lay it on the line right now and name four scum, I'd name:
Chronopie
Mr. Chaos
ConfidAnon
Scott Brosius
for the manner of their arguments/lack thereof. I'll go into each playerslot in my next post. I don't have a clue about pairings at the moment.

It's not your briefness that has been the worst, it's your general lack of specificity regarding your opinions on other players' alignments.Scott Brosius wrote:

I can be brief, which leads people to think I'm scummy. There really has been a lack of substance in this game, I know it's D1 and all but it seems worse than usual.
That's been my major beef with Scott Brosius. Vagueness, poor generalizations, and no major stances.Show"I'm from Indiana. I know what you're thinking: Indiana... Mafia." - Jim Gaffigan
