Why would we want to out another power role just to test your claim? It's shaky, and there's no reason to out another PR to test it, IMO.

But I will day that I do see pro-town benefits; it could be useful for redirecting scum PRs, if there are.

I see what Zazie is trying to say about my lack of scumhunting. If you want a legitimate post about the DP wagon early on, I didn't particularly like StrangerCoug's vote on him, or Ice's that followed.

I am a thief.

Basically, each night, I choose someone to rob, and I get items that can help me find out who that person is. Because I'm a thief, I'm also a miller, so I turn out guilty on cop investigations (although that may help me somehow?)

Last night, I robbed Pom. Here's the items I received:

a welcome mat that says "GO AWAY".
a prescrition to treat "Cooties".
a bag of onions.
a DVD of the movie "How to lose friends and alienate people"

Pom, tell me what this means, because those things don't seem to point to a particularly pro-town role, at least in my eyes.

If I successfully tag someone (basically, if they don't die,) then there is a ROLE REVERSAL, fine? So the other person becomes "it", and I get their (original) role- clear? But I can't use it until the next night- Are you happy?

Last night I didn't target anyone, because I want to wait until I'm happy with someone who would be good to tag, so I'm still it- k?

Lastly, I don't know if I totally believe Pom when she says she didn't target anyone. She could have targeted scum - I assume the alignment changes when you tag someone.

From the wording of the Role PM it seems like it doesn't (ROLE REVERSAL isn't ROLE

AND

ALIGNMENT REVERSAL), but we'll find out when Grimmy PMs me back, won't we?

Also, if I had targeted someone, they would be the new "it", and therefore counterclaim/explain that I must have targeted them N1 and (therefore) be lying about my action, so if no one claims to be "it" currently, then I can't be lying about that part, can I?

The Locke does not see any answers to his questions. Pome, does your role give you any indication of what would have happened if you targeted CC or Zang? The Locke says there is no way, and The Locke means no way, that you swapping roles with Zang does not constitute an alignment change. CC also seems to have been town-aligned but with a separate wincon - can you change wincon but remain town-aligned?

Does it satisfy you right not to know that I've PMed Grimmy with this question?

The Locke says answers are needed about Pome's role right away. The Locke does not think it would be that hard to clarify precisely what Pome's role affects and what its purpose is, but the lack of prompt answers make The Locke concerned that there might be aspects of this role Pome does not want us to hear.

What answers are needed, other than to the one question above?

To Pome, The Locke says this: The Locke wants lots of answers about the role because The Locke thinks both that not only does it imply an anti-town alignment, particularly with Deer's results, but it also has extensive implications for the whole set-up. If you definitely can steal any role, then it renders Iecerint's assumption about Deer totally null and void because all the roles must be alignment-ambiguous enough to switch sides. The Locke cannot understand how this can be with an SK in the game, however, so The Locke is assuming that either the role does not work on every player, or that it does not work in the way you have been told it works, or that this game is incredibly swingy and alignment changes are possible. Answers would be better than assumptions.

The mod told me that there are no alignment changed- clear? So I PM'ed him asking what would happen had I targeted Zang last night, and I'm waiting for a response, so that is that for now, isn't it?

As for the matter of Pome, The Locke's concerns are more that Deer's results imply an anti-town alignment and that currently the role does not make complete sense, which makes The Locke think we are either not being told something or we are being lied to completely. The Locke would not be quite so dubious if it were not for the presence of both the SK and the bounty hunter, which massively complicate the alleged affects of Pome's role. The more The Locke thinks about it, the more The Locke thinks that this role does not fit in with The Locke's current knowledge of the game.

Grimmy said that he knew what would happen had I targeted CC or Zang, but he would not tell me- Why? I do not know, ask him yourself, okay?

Grimmy's Post Restriction Madness

This game will be full of twists and surprises.

Each Player will be asked/required to submit TWO separate Post restrictions to the mod (me). Players will recieve thier post restrictions from this pool (

as well as others provided by myself

) to portray during the whole game. This game will accept 12 Players and will have ~2 week deadlines to keep the game moving. (Note to all players, I am unavailable during the weekends, so do not expect any replies from me during this time, but any posts/votes/etc. will be dealt with in the order they are presented.

And it should be known that I like to experiment with my games, so do NOT expect a normal mafia game (Bastard modding aint got NOTHING on me.)

However, I am a firm beleiver in learning through experience, so if you are allowed to play in a mini them game (as per the mafiascum rules) then you are allowed/encouraged/you've been warned to play in this game.
